Overview
A tall column of real wood, cut into deep flutes, under a wide cone of natural linen. This large table lamp stands 65 cm (25.6 in) tall, with a shade 45 cm (17.7 in) across. It takes an E27 bulb and fills a corner of a room with warm, even light.
Switch it on and the linen glows like warm paper. Light pours down over the flutes, so every ridge of the wood catches it.
Fluted wood and linen, shaped by hand
The base is real wood in a deep walnut tone. Our craftsman turns it into a column, then cuts long flutes down its upper part, one groove at a time. The lower band is left smooth, so you see both the cut and the grain.
The shade is linen, a natural plant fibre with a fine, slightly uneven weave. It is stretched over a wide cone frame, so the light spreads out and down. The holder and fittings are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish.
Wood that took years to grow, linen from a plant, and warm light that brings out the grain of both. That is what makes this large table lamp feel calm in a room.
Where this large table lamp works
- Living room console or sideboard. At 65 cm, it has the height and width to hold its own on a long piece of furniture.
- Beside a sofa. On a side table, it is a warm reading light for the evening.
- Bedroom. On a wide bedside table or a dresser, it gives soft light across the room.

It suits walnut, teak and oak furniture, cream and white walls, linen curtains and stone. A pair on either end of a long sideboard looks balanced and finished.
Light and fitting
This large table lamp takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white E27 LED for the glow you see in the photos.
It is not dimmable. It gives one steady warm light, so choose your bulb for the mood you want. It plugs into a 220–240V wall socket on a 1.8 m (70.8 in) cable. The solid wood base makes it steady: the lamp weighs about 4 kg (8.8 lb).
The brass-finish parts are 304-grade stainless steel, so they will never rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on the steel. Spare parts, including the linen shade, stay available for 10+ years.
