Overview
A rounded column of real travertine, a slim brass-finish stem and a scalloped shade of soft linen. This decorative table lamp stands 42 cm (16.5 in) tall, with a shade 25 cm (9.8 in) across. It takes an E27 bulb.
Switch it on and the linen glows warm cream, its scalloped folds showing as soft bands of light and shade. Light falls down onto the stone, so the base glows too.
Travertine and linen, shaped by hand
Travertine is stone that formed slowly from mineral-rich water, one thin layer over another, across thousands of years. You can see those layers as soft bands running round the base.
Our craftsman turns each base from a solid block into a column with a rounded top, then hones it by hand. He leaves the natural pits open instead of filling them, so every decorative table lamp carries its own pattern of stone.
The shade is linen, a natural fibre with a fine, slightly uneven weave. It is folded into scallops around a frame, so the light comes through in gentle waves. The stem and fittings are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish.

Where this decorative table lamp works
- Console or sideboard. Beside books and a vase, it gives a warm glow at eye level when you walk in.
- Living room side table. Next to a sofa, it is a soft reading light for the evening.
- Bedside. At 42 cm, it sits at a comfortable height beside a bed, and the shade keeps the bulb out of your eyes.
- Study or dressing table. Its neutral tones sit well with oak, walnut, cane and white walls.
It suits Japandi, coastal and warm minimal rooms. Use a pair on a long sideboard or either side of a bed for balance.
Light and fitting
This decorative table lamp takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white E27 LED for the glow you see in the photos.
It is not dimmable. It gives one steady warm light, so choose your bulb for the mood you want. It plugs into a 220–240V wall socket on a 1.4 m (55 in) cable. The solid stone base makes it heavy and steady: about 4.6 kg (10.1 lb).
The brass-finish parts are 304-grade stainless steel, so they will never rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on the steel. Spare parts, including the linen shade, stay available for 10+ years.
