Moroccan Pendant Light – Handcrafted Textured Borosilicate Glass Lantern, 30 cm

Switch it on and the wall turns into a pattern. This moroccan pendant light is a 30 cm lantern of embossed clear borosilicate glass, held in a gold-finish frame of 304-grade stainless steel. Light from one E27 bulb passes through raised quatrefoil and flower shapes and lands on your walls, ceiling and table as soft arabesque shadows.

It is 30 cm wide and 25 cm tall. Small enough for a bedside or a kitchen island. Strong enough to hold a dining table on its own.

Borosilicate glass, set by hand in a steel frame

Glass begins as sand. Our borosilicate glass is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, and it stays crystal-clear for life. Each panel carries a pressed arabesque pattern you can feel with your fingertip.

In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman cuts every tapered panel to fit and sets it into thin channels of gold-finish stainless steel. Upper panels slope in to the cap. A lower band of panels turns back out, so the lantern reads as a faceted gem from any angle.

Then the light does the rest. The clear glass lets the glow out clean. The raised pattern breaks it into shapes, so you get a bright centre and a lace of shadow around the room. Even unlit, the gold lines and patterned glass give the ceiling a point to look at.

Where a moroccan pendant light works best

Its best home is above a dining table. Hang it 75–85 cm above the top and the pattern spreads across the whole table setting.

Over a kitchen island, 70–75 cm gives good task light and keeps the pattern visible. It also suits an entryway, where the patterned glow makes a strong first impression, a drawing room with dark wood or terracotta tones, a bar corner, or a bedside in a bedroom.

Light, bulb and fitting

The lantern takes one E27 bulb, up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 6–9 W warm-white LED at 3000K. A 6 W bulb brings the pattern alive on the wall behind your sofa; a 9 W bulb gives real work light over a counter. A cold daylight bulb kills the warmth, so stay with 3000K.

The frame and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel with a PVD-coated gold finish, so the colour holds and is not just painted on. Stainless steel does not rust, and we back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

It hangs on Teflon-coated copper wire, 1.5 m as standard, shortened to your drop at installation. It is not dimmable; it gives a fixed warm light. It is rated IP20 for indoor rooms, at 220–240 V.
