Overview
The black LED floor lamp Kalena stands 182 cm and throws 4048 lumens of 3000K warm white through an integrated 30W disc — no bulb, no replacement costs, no wiring beyond a standard wall socket. The disc tilts 260° on a spring-tensioned knuckle joint. matte black 304-grade stainless steel body, 25 cm round 304-grade stainless steel base, 5 kg. Plug in and place.
Made by Jagmag Lights in Greater Noida, India. If you prefer glass-shade warmth for a corner, the Black Amber Glass Floor Lamp – Modern Teardrop Shade | Ambrosia gives that amber glow instead.
Where it fits
- Living room corner — disc tilted ceiling-ward to wash the wall with warm uplight; ceiling lights off, the room settles into evening mode.
- Reading nook — head angled 45° downward for focused task light without glare; reach the page without reaching for a switch.
- Bedroom beside the bed— disc pointed upward for soft indirect uplight.
- Home office or study — ambient floor fill that reduces screen-eye contrast in the evening; warm 3000K cuts the harsh blue of most builder ceiling panels.
Why you’ll use it every day
Reading without waking a partner: disc angled downward, slider at 30%. Evening ambience: disc ceiling-ward, slider at 60%. One lamp, both modes, one socket.
At 182 cm, the disc sits above seated eye level — no bare LED surface in your sightline from the sofa, no glare strip across the TV. The 260° tilt range means the same lamp covers corner uplighting one night and bedside reading the next. At 5 kg on a 25 cm base, it stays put on a rug without tipping. For a reading-specific floor lamp with a dedicated ring uplight, see the Black LED Floor Lamp with Reading Light.
Light & finish
Lit, the integrated disc produces a thin crescent of light around its edge and throws a wide, even wash upward — no hotspot, no harsh bright centre. At 4048 lumens on full, it fills a standard drawing room. Unlit, the disc is a clean matte-black circle — no visible bulb, no glare-catching glass, no colour. The 304-grade stainless steel stem reads as a fine vertical line from the side. Against white, grey, or dark feature walls it disappears into the architecture; against warm timber or terracotta, the matte black anchors the space without competing with warmer materials.
Body and stem: matte black 304-grade stainless steel. Base: heavy-gauge 304-grade stainless steel.
Height: 182 cm (71.7 in) · Head diameter: 27 cm (10.6 in) · Base diameter: 25 cm (9.8 in) · Base height: 3.5 cm (1.4 in) · Stem diameter: 1.55 cm (0.6 in) · Head tilt: 260°
Freestanding — no wall mount, no ceiling work required. Plugs into a standard 3-pin Indian socket. Minimum recommended ceiling height: 9 ft (274 cm). Recommended wall clearance: 30 cm to allow full disc tilt range.

Vastu
In Vastu Shastra, the south-east corner of a living room is traditionally associated with active energy and prosperity — a steady, bright light source placed there is considered beneficial. The Kalena works well in this position: the upward disc wash keeps the corner lit without introducing overhead glare. The 3000K warm white is associated in colour practice with relaxed alertness, balancing the cold blue tone of most builder ceiling fixtures. Matte black is traditionally considered a grounding finish in Vaastu, aligned with Rahu-related principles for driven, ambitious households. The circular disc and round base carry smooth, uninterrupted energy flow in Vaastu thought. A symmetrical pair of floor lamps placed in a drawing room is traditionally associated with harmony between occupants.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.
FAQ
How tall should a black LED floor lamp be for a living room?
A floor lamp for a living room should stand between 150–185 cm. This puts the light source at or above seated eye level, giving an upward wash that feels like natural ambient light. The Kalena stands 182 cm — ideal for rooms with 9–12 ft ceilings and standard Indian drawing rooms.
Can a black LED floor lamp replace a ceiling light?
For mood lighting, reading corners, and TV rooms, yes — a black LED floor lamp does the job better than a ceiling light. For kitchens or workshops where you need bright overhead task light, keep the ceiling fixture. For the living room and bedroom, 4048 lumens with a tiltable disc handles everything else.
What bulb does this black LED floor lamp use?
None. The Kalena uses a 30W integrated LED disc module — no socket, no bulb to source or replace. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours. At 8 hours a day, that is over 10 years of use before any attention is needed.
Where is this black LED floor lamp made?
Made by Jagmag Lights in Greater Noida, India. In-house manufacturing means we control every component, from the 304-grade stainless steel body to the knuckle joint. Spare parts and repair support are available for 10+ years after purchase.

Yes — Jagmag manufactures in-house. Custom heights, white or gold finish variants, and different wattages are available on request. Lead time is 15–20 working days. For a warm glass-globe look, see the Triple Amber Glass Floor Lamp.
How long does delivery take for this black LED floor lamp?
