Overview
Picture your dining table at night. Above it, a ring of soft white globes glows like a string of pearls, and every face around the table looks warm. That is what this globe pendant chandelier does the moment you switch it on.
It is a 95 cm ring of hand-blown opal borosilicate glass globes, the glass most people call milk glass. Each globe is 10 cm across. Small joints in a brushed brass finish sit between them, and fine cables hold the ring level below your ceiling.
Why milk glass glows the way it does
Borosilicate glass starts as natural raw ingredients: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, melted together. For opal glass, white colour is added while the glass is made. That is why opal, frosted, milky and milk glass are one material.
Our glassblower then shapes each globe by hand, one breath at a time. So no two are exactly alike. Look closely and you may see a tiny change in thickness. That is the mark of the hand, not a flaw.

Where a globe pendant chandelier works best
Hang it over a dining table, 85 to 90 cm above the top, for the best spread of light. It is just as calm as the centrepiece of a drawing room or living room of 12 × 12 ft and up.

The light in this globe pendant chandelier is built in: a warm white 3000K LED. There is no bulb to buy or change. It is not dimmable. It gives one fixed, warm light that suits evenings at home.
The ring and its joints are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish. This steel does not rust, and we back it with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The built-in LED is covered for 1 year on the same orders.
The ring hangs on Teflon-coated copper wire. The drop adjusts from 20 to 200 cm, so it suits a 9 ft dining room or a double-height foyer. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms, and runs on 220–240V. Your electrician fits it to a round ceiling canopy, and our team helps on a free video call.

Vastu tradition places the dining area in the west or north-west of a home, with the family facing east or north as they eat. For evenings it asks for soft, warm light, spread evenly so no corner stays dark.
A ring of opal glass globes does exactly that. The warm 3000K light falls evenly over the table, with no glare. Vastu advice also favours light on the north and east side of a room, and keeps the main light away from the south-east fire zone.

Rooms of 12 × 12 ft and up suit it best, with a ceiling of at least 9 ft. Over a dining table, hang it 85–90 cm above the top. For the full 200 cm drop, plan on 11 ft or more.
Does it need bulbs?
No. The warm 3000K LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The LED is covered for 1 year on orders from 4 October 2026.
Is this chandelier dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Is this the same as a milky glass chandelier?
Yes. Milky, milk, white and opal glass are one material. These globes are hand-blown opal borosilicate glass: clear borosilicate glass with white colour added while it is made. That is why the light comes through as a soft, even glow.
How do I clean the glass globes?
Switch it off and let the globes cool, then wipe each one with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do it every few weeks and the glow stays clear.
