Overview
Some rooms need one calm thing in the middle. An alabaster ring chandelier gives yours that. Ten discs of real stone sit around a slim golden ring, and at the switch each one glows warm from inside.
This is a round ring chandelier, 60 cm (23.6 in) across. Each alabaster disc is gently domed and set in a wide rim. The discs face outward and sideways around the ring, so the stone glows from every angle. Thin cables hold the ring from a round canopy, which keeps the whole piece light and open.
Why the stone in this alabaster ring chandelier glows
Alabaster is a fine-grained natural stone formed beneath the earth. It belongs to our stone family, and light passes softly through it. That is what lets each disc glow.
A craftsman looks at the stone before he decides how to work with it. Where should the disc be cut? Which vein should stay untouched? He shapes and polishes each one by hand, then sets it in its rim. The veins stay, because they are the reason you want this stone.

Light and fitting
All ten discs give a fixed warm 3000K light. It runs on 220-240V. It is not dimmable, so you get the same warm glow every evening. It is rated IP20, so keep it in dry indoor rooms.
The ring, rims and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish. They look warm and golden, and the steel underneath will not rust.
