Will it fit my interior?
Know your light
The gold glass wall light pairs a clear glass dome shade with a curved antique brass metal arm — a single-bulb sconce that casts a warm downward glow across the wall. It takes an E27 bulb (not included) and mounts flush on a round backplate, suited to bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways where you want a layer of warm accent light without taking up a surface.
Where it fits
- Beside a bed or headboard — at reading height, for soft light that stays on your side of the room without waking a partner.
- Either side of a mirror, console, or dresser in a living room or entryway, mounted as a symmetrical pair.
- In a narrow hallway or stair landing where a floor lamp or table lamp has no room to stand.
- In a guest room or hotel-style bedroom, where the curved brass arm and glass dome add a finished, considered look.
Why you’ll use it every day
Wall-mounted and wired, it frees your nightstand completely — room for a book, a glass of water, and a phone, with nothing trailing across the surface. The warm glow through the clear dome is enough to read by without flooding the room. In the morning you turn it on with a switch rather than reaching across the bed. In a hallway it gives enough light to move around safely at night without switching on the overhead.
A pair, one each side of a bed, frames the room symmetrically and means each person controls their own light independently.
Light & finish
Lit, the clear dome lets the filament or globe of the bulb read as a warm, visible focal point. Light falls mainly downward and outward, washing the wall in a soft halo rather than casting a hard pool. Unlit, the brushed antique brass arm and backplate catch ambient light and hold their shape — the sconce looks present and intentional.
The warm brass finish pairs naturally with white, off-white, beige, dusty green, and deep navy walls. It works with marble surfaces, natural teak wood, and rattan. Browse more in our wall lights collection.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, gold and warm metallic finishes are traditionally associated with the metal element and solar warmth, and are commonly preferred on north and north-west walls. The clear glass dome is associated with visual openness and the unobstructed movement of light. The curved arm and rounded dome are traditionally considered more auspicious than sharp edges, as smooth forms are linked to smooth energy flow through a space. A balanced pair placed either side of a bed is associated in Vaastu with harmony and partnership.

Common questions
What bulb does the gold glass wall light take?
A single E27 (Edison screw) bulb. The bulb is not included, so you choose the brightness. A warm-white LED globe (2700–3000 K) suits the clear dome best and produces a soft, filament-style glow through the glass.
How high should I mount it?
Centre the backplate at 150–160 cm from the floor for a standalone accent. Beside a bed or reading chair, 120–140 cm puts the light at a comfortable reading height.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
This is an indoor wall sconce for dry locations — ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways. It is not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms near showers or for outdoor walls.
Is it designed to be used as a pair?
Yes. Two units mounted either side of a bed, mirror, or console spread light evenly and frame the wall symmetrically. Each sconce is sold individually.
What is the frame made of?
The curved arm and round backplate are antique brass metal. The shade is a clear glass dome in a half-globe shape with an open base.
Is it made in India?
Yes. Jagmag Lights manufactures in India, which means parts and replacements stay available locally rather than waiting on an import.
