Glass Leaf Pendant Light – Clear Ribbed Borosilicate Glass, Brass Finish, G9

Most bedside lighting takes up the table. This leaf pendant light doesn’t. It hangs beside the bed and throws soft ripples on your wall.

Switch it on and the ribbed glass breaks the light into ribbons. Switch it off and you still have a curl of clear glass worth looking at.

What is a glass leaf pendant light?

It is a small hanging light with one clear borosilicate glass shade, shaped like a leaf caught mid-curl. The edge is scalloped. The shade is 20 cm wide, 15 cm deep and 21 cm tall.

Four small ball finials with a brass finish clamp the glass to the frame. They’re the only fixings you can see, and they’re meant to be seen.

Borosilicate glass, shaped by hand

The shade is borosilicate glass. It is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, so it stays crystal-clear.

Our craftsmen shape it by hand into the leaf form. Every rib in the glass has a different depth. No two shades catch the light in exactly the same way.

That is why the light doesn’t come out flat. It breaks into wavy lines across the wall behind. Look at the photos against the dark wall. That’s the shade doing its job, not styling.

The glass is clear. Under a warm bulb it glows a soft champagne colour. Switched off, it reads almost colourless.

Where to hang a leaf pendant light

Beside a bed is the obvious place. Hang a pair either side and you free up both nightstands.

It also works in a row over a kitchen island, at the end of a hallway, or alone over a console. At 20 cm wide it’s small. This is an accent light, not the main ceiling light for a room.

Here’s the thing about small pendants: two or three together almost always look better than one. One on its own can look lost unless it hangs over something specific. Each pendant is sold on its own.

Light and fitting: steel that will not rust

The lamp holder, the top cap and the ball finials are 304-grade stainless steel with a brass finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1A).

It takes one G9 bulb, the small capsule type. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. A G9 sits low and compact inside the shade, so the glass stays the hero, not the bulb.

It hangs on a 1.5 m cord that your electrician shortens at installation. It runs on 220–240V, is rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms, and is not dimmable.
