Crystal Bell Pendant Light – 3-Light Cluster, Cut Borosilicate Glass and Coloured Crystal Beads

Three bells of light, hung at three heights over your table. This bell cut light is our crystal bell pendant light: three clear borosilicate glass bells, each cut by hand in a diamond lattice, under strands of red, blue and clear crystal beads.

It is a 3-light cluster on one round satin gold canopy, 200 mm wide. The cluster is 900 mm tall and spreads 284 mm. Each bell is 120 mm across. The drops are staggered, so the three bells fall like a small cascade, not a straight row.

Cut borosilicate glass and crystal beads

Glass starts as earth: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, melted together. We use clear borosilicate glass for its clarity and purity. Nothing is added to colour it.

Then come the hands. Our craftsman cuts each bell with deep vertical flutes and a diamond lattice around the lower half. It is slow work, one line at a time, and no two bells come out exactly alike. Above each bell, a strand of crystal beads is threaded on a satin gold stem: a clear faceted rondelle, a red bicone, a clear faceted round, then a blue bicone.

Switch it on and the cuts catch the bulb. Dozens of small lit edges show across the glass, and soft sparkle falls on the ceiling and walls. The red and blue beads pick up the glow, so colour sits at eye level even when the light is off.

Where a crystal bell pendant light works best

Over a dining table. One cluster suits a 4–6 seater round or square table. Hang the lowest bell 75–85 cm above the table top. For a 6–8 seater table over 180 cm long, hang two clusters 60–70 cm apart.

In an entrance foyer. With a ceiling of 9 ft or more, the three heights fill the vertical space. The cluster reads as a statement even against a plain wall.

In a hotel or boutique reception. The cut bells and bead strands hold up at scale. One cluster works, or a row of three over a long desk.

In the living room or bedroom. One cluster brings warmth and texture to a seating corner, a reading corner or a dressing area. It works on an 8 ft ceiling when the wire is shortened.

The satin gold sits between antique brass and polished gold, warm without being heavy. It pairs with natural wood, dark walnut, white walls and warm grey rooms, warm-toned textiles, cane furniture and brass hardware. Light, fitting and finish

The round canopy, the bead stems and the holder cups are 304-grade stainless steel with a satin gold finish. Steel like this does not rust, and it comes with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

The canopy is 200 mm wide and 25 mm deep. Each bell hangs on a clear wire. As drawn, the cluster is 900 mm tall, with each pendant body 450 mm long. Your electrician shortens the wires at installation. On an 8 ft ceiling, bring the overall height down to about 600 mm.

Each bell takes one E14 candle bulb, three in all. The bulbs are not included. Fit 3000K warm-white LEDs: they suit the cut bells and bring out the colour of the beads. This light is not dimmable. It is IP20, made for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from rain, moisture and high humidity, including covered outdoor areas. It runs on 220–240 V.
