Overview
Look up. That is the first thing anyone does in a tall room. This alabaster cascade chandelier gives them a reason to keep looking.
Twenty-two tubes of natural alabaster hang from one round matte black canopy, each at its own height. Together they spiral down like a slow fall of light. Every tube glows warm gold from inside, and no two show the same veins.
Why an alabaster cascade chandelier fills a tall room
Most chandeliers sit close to the ceiling. In a double-height room, that leaves the middle of the space feeling empty.
This one comes down to meet you. The tubes step from short to long, so the light runs through the full height of the room. It comes at 2400 mm (about 8 ft) from the canopy to the lowest tube. The wires let it hang longer, up to 3600 mm (about 12 ft), set at installation to suit your ceiling.
The result: a tall room that finally feels finished.
Real alabaster, cut and polished by hand
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth. It is soft enough to shape by hand and fine enough to let light pass through it.
Our craftsman looks at each piece of stone before he cuts it. He chooses where the veins should run along the tube, then cuts and polishes it until it feels smooth in the hand. Each tube is 450 mm long and 40 mm across.
Unlit, the stone is cream with grey and amber veins. Switch it on and those veins come alive, glowing gold from inside the stone. No acrylic, no plastic, no print. Just stone and light.
The round canopy and the end caps on every tube are 304-grade stainless steel with a matte black finish. Dark steel and warm stone: that contrast gives this light its character.
Where does an alabaster cascade chandelier work best?
- Grand foyer: the stepped tubes fill a villa entrance the way a flat ceiling light never could.
- Staircase void: the falling lengths follow the line of the stairs. It is one of the most natural ways to light a stairwell, and a fine alabaster chandelier for staircase spaces.
- Double-height living room: a true double height ceiling chandelier, it fills the height that furniture can never reach.

Light, fitting and a frame that never rusts
Each tube has a built-in warm white LED at 3000K. There are no bulbs to buy or change. The light is not dimmable; it gives one steady, warm glow. It is rated IP65, sealed against dust and water, and runs on 220–240V.
Any licensed electrician can fit it to a standard ceiling junction box. The canopy needs a ceiling hook or brace rated for the chandelier’s weight, and tall rooms usually need scaffolding, so plan for it. We send a wiring diagram with every order, and our team will guide your electrician on a free video call.

Vastu tradition asks for the entrance and the staircase to be bright and welcoming. A dark stair or a shadowy foyer is something it advises against. In the rooms where family and guests gather, it prefers warm light to cold, harsh light.
The open centre of a home, the Brahmasthan, is meant to stay open and full of light, and a double-height void often sits right there. A cascade of warm alabaster fills that height with a soft glow without crowding the floor. Natural stone brings the earth element; warm 3000K light brings fire. FAQ
What ceiling height do I need for this chandelier?
It works best with a ceiling of at least 14–16 ft, so the lowest tube clears head height. It comes at 2400 mm (about 8 ft) and can hang up to 3600 mm (about 12 ft). Over a staircase, keep the bottom of the cascade at least 7 ft above the landing.
Is this a good double height ceiling chandelier?
Yes. It was made for one. Twenty-two alabaster tubes hang in a round cascade from a 900 mm (about 3 ft) canopy, so the light fills the full height of the room. Tell us your ceiling height and we will set the drop to suit it.
Can I get a shorter or longer drop?
Yes. We can make it to your ceiling height, at 6 ft, 10 ft or more. A custom piece is made in 15–20 working days from order confirmation.
Is the alabaster real stone?
Yes. Every tube is natural alabaster, a soft, translucent stone that glows from inside when lit. Its cream, grey and amber veins differ in every piece. There is no acrylic or synthetic material in this chandelier.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the metal rust?
No. The canopy and end caps are 304-grade stainless steel with a matte black finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Who installs it, and is it for hotel projects?
Any licensed electrician can fit it to a ceiling junction box, with a hook or brace rated for its weight. We send a wiring diagram and help on a free video call. We also supply hotels, resorts and lobbies across India, with overnight project support.
