Know your light
A plant pot wall light in matte black — a white opal glass globe above and a round metal planter cup below, joined by a slim curved arm on a circular backplate. The fixture stands 47 cm tall and 22 cm wide, a slim wall footprint that delivers warm ambient light and a living green display from a single wall point. It suits balconies, covered entries, living rooms and bedrooms wherever you want both glow and greenery without a second wall bracket.
Where it fits
- Balcony or covered entry — the 47 cm height reads clearly at eye level on an outdoor-facing wall; a trailing or compact potted plant in the cup brings greenery to a spot that usually stays bare.
- Living room feature wall — works as a focal point beside a console, mirror or artwork, where the combination of globe glow and live greenery replaces two separate objects.
- Bedroom beside the bed — mount it at around 150 cm so the globe sits near reading height while the planter cup below holds a small succulent or air plant.
- Hotel corridor or lobby accent — the narrow 22 cm width and vertical 47 cm form factor fits tightly spaced wall intervals while still delivering a designed, biophilic statement.
Why you’ll use it every day
The opal globe spreads light evenly in all directions rather than casting a sharp beam, giving a soft warm wash that works for a lit balcony corner, a bedside glow or an entry that should feel welcoming rather than bright. Because the globe sits directly above the planter, trailing greenery is naturally lit from above, so plants look better after dark than they do in harsh daylight. The planter cup is built into the fixture itself, meaning one wall point handles both the light and the greenery — no separate shelf, no extra bracket, no cable management for a table lamp. The curved arm and paired rounded forms make it comfortable to look at from any angle in the room.
Light & finish
Lit, the white opal glass globe gives a fully diffused, all-round glow that washes the surrounding wall and ceiling evenly in warm light — there is no hotspot and no visible filament. Unlit, the globe reads as a clean white sphere against the matte black frame, a contrast that works particularly well against light grey, white, concrete and warm-toned walls. The matte black finish does not reflect light, keeping the fixture visually quiet when off and letting the globe do the work when on. It pairs naturally with dark-wood furniture, terracotta and natural clay pots, concrete and raw plaster finishes, and green-heavy biophilic interiors. Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, living green plants are traditionally associated with growth, fresh energy and vitality, and this fixture places that greenery at eye level on the wall where it stays in view. The rounded globe and continuously curved arm carry smooth, flowing lines — forms commonly preferred in Vaastu over sharp edges for keeping energy moving gently through a room. Matte black metal is typically used as a grounding accent, and here it is balanced by the living greenery and the soft, all-round globe light. Diffused warm light is traditionally considered welcoming and calming, well suited to entrances and balconies where the quality of the first impression matters most.

What buyers say

The size feels right on the side wall, and it does not overpower the space near the passage.
Common questions
Can I put a real plant in it?
Yes — the round metal cup is sized to hold a small potted plant; faux trailing greenery works equally well and needs no watering.
What type of plant fits best?
Small trailing plants such as pothos, string-of-pearls or ivy suit the cup shape best, as do compact succulents, air plants or a small fern in a 10–12 cm pot.
Can I use it on a balcony or covered entry?
Yes — it is designed for balcony, verandah and covered-entry walls where a standard indoor sconce would not last; for fully exposed positions with direct heavy rain, additional shelter is advisable.
Does it come with a bulb?
No — a G9 bulb is required and sold separately; a 3–4 W warm-white LED (2700 K) is the recommended choice for a soft, even glow.
How high should I mount it?
Mount the backplate centre at roughly 145–160 cm so the globe sits near eye level and the planter cup trails naturally below; adjust slightly to suit your ceiling height and room use.
Can I buy two pieces to frame a doorway or mirror?
Yes — two pieces placed symmetrically on either side of a door, mirror or console create a balanced, structured look and double the greenery display.
