Travertine Drum Pendant Light – Mini Pendant Light in Stone, Steel and Wood, 16 cm

Some lights fill a room. This one sits beside you. Over your nightstand, above a breakfast table for two, or over the desk where you read. This mini pendant light is a small drum of real travertine, 16 cm across and just 7 cm deep, with a ring of perforated steel tucked beneath it.

The stone hides the bulb from the side, so there is no glare. Light falls straight down through the open base, and the tiny holes in the ring glow warm when you switch it on. One is enough beside a bed. Two or three look right over a table.

Real travertine, cut and honed by hand

Travertine is stone formed beneath the earth. Mineral water laid it down, layer on layer, over thousands of years. The small pits on the drum are where that water once moved.

Our craftsman reads each piece of stone before he cuts it. He turns the drum, hones the edge smooth, and leaves the natural pits open. So no two drums share the same cream-beige tone or texture. This is real stone, not a coating made to look like it.

Below the stone sits a ring of perforated 304-grade stainless steel in a copper-bronze finish. On top, a small walnut-tone wood cap meets the black cord. Stone, steel and wood in one small piece. Switch it on and the stone stays calm and solid while the ring sparkles gold.

It sits well in Japandi, warm-minimal and mid-century rooms, next to walnut, oak, linen, plaster and stone.

Where does a mini pendant light work best?

• Beside your bed: hang one on each side instead of table lamps, with the base about 50–60 cm above the nightstand. The table stays free for a book. See all bedroom pendant lights.
• Over a dining or breakfast table: two or three in a row, about 50–60 cm apart, with the base 75–90 cm above the top. A pair suits a small round table. More in dining room pendant lights.

Light, fitting and what’s inside

Inside the drum is one E27 holder, with a white diffuser below the bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED; a brighter warm LED gives more light. It is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm light.

It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms. The perforated ring is 304-grade stainless steel in a copper-bronze finish, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

The black cord is up to 170 cm long, set at installation to suit your bed, table or desk. The ceiling canopy is walnut-tone wood, Ø 10 cm. It is a hard-wired ceiling pendant. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.
