Travertine Dome Pendant Light – Stone Disc, Wood Dome, Opal Globe, 30 cm

Switch it on and a disc of stone floats over a soft white glow. This travertine hanging light sets a flat, 30 cm disc of real travertine between a wood cap and a wood dome. Under the dome sits an opal borosilicate glass globe. The globe glows soft and even, and light catches the underside of the stone and the grain of the wood. It is 18 cm tall and hangs on a black cord.

Real travertine, cut and honed by hand

Travertine is stone formed beneath the earth, where mineral water rose and settled over thousands of years. That is why it has tiny natural pits and soft bands of cream and beige.

A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory cuts each disc, then hones the face and edge by hand. He leaves the pits open, because they are the stone’s own character. No two discs are the same.

The cap and the dome are real wood in a walnut tone, turned and finished to show the grain. The ceiling canopy is wood to match. The globe is opal borosilicate glass: clear glass melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white added while it is made. Light passes through it as a calm, glare-free glow.

Where a travertine dome pendant works best

• Over a kitchen island. Two or three in a row, about 60–75 cm apart, the base 75–90 cm above the counter. See all our kitchen pendant lights.

Light and fitting

It takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. The opal globe hides the bulb, so the light is soft and downward-and-around. Think ambient and accent light, not the main light of a large room. It is not dimmable.

It hangs on a black cord up to 170 cm long, shortened at installation to suit your table or island. The ceiling canopy is about 10 cm across. Any metal fitting inside the light is 304-grade stainless steel, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

It is a hard-wired travertine ceiling light for 220–240V, rated IP20 for indoor dry areas. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.
