Overview
Bedtime goes easier when the room feels calm. This teddy bear ceiling light is a kids room pendant light with a soft, warm glow. A small white bear hangs on to the cord above it.
Kids notice the bear first. You notice there is no glare. The disc is 40 cm across and only 13 cm tall, with a built-in 3000K warm-white LED behind a full diffuser.
A wooden disc, a sphere and one brave little bear
The body is wood. A wide, flat disc with a softly rounded edge, and a round sphere sitting on top of it. No sharp corners anywhere.
Our craftsman shapes the disc and the sphere, rounds every edge by hand, and finishes them in a soft butter cream. The cream sits quietly against white, beige, pale green or pastel pink walls.
On top of the sphere stands a white bear, one paw gripping a ring on the cord, one leg kicking out. It reads as a toy. It works as a real ceiling light.
Here’s the thing about the light. Wood stays solid, so the glow comes only from below. Switch it on and the underside turns into one even, glowing circle. You see no dots and no bulb, just warm light falling on the bed, the desk or the play mat.
Where does a kids room pendant light work best?
- Kids room or nursery: big enough at 40 cm to be the main light in a normal-sized child’s room. See more bedroom pendant lights.

- Over a study desk or changing table: even, glare-free light where small hands work.

Light and fitting
The light source is a built-in LED, 3000K warm white. There is no bulb to buy and no open holder for small fingers to reach. The LED module carries a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1B).
It hangs on a white cord, 1.5 m as standard, from a white round ceiling canopy. Your electrician shortens the cord at installation to suit your ceiling. The canopy is 304-grade stainless steel in a white finish, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
It is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only, not a bathroom or a balcony.
Any licensed electrician fits it to a standard ceiling point in 20–30 minutes. We give free video-call support while they do it.

Vastu writers ask for a child’s room that is bright by day and soft by evening. Warm, gentle light after sunset helps a child wind down. A 3000K warm-white glow behind a diffuser gives exactly that, with no bare bulb in the eye-line.
Most Vastu guides also say a child should not sleep directly under a light. So hang this pendant beside the bed, over a reading corner or above the study table, not right over the pillow. Does this kids room pendant light need a bulb?
No. The LED is built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy and none to replace. It gives 3000K warm-white light.
