Overview
A small alabaster pendant: a drum of real stone that glows when you switch it on. Hang this alabaster drum pendant light beside your bed or over your kitchen island, and the stone itself turns soft and warm. It is a compact drum of natural alabaster, Ø 16.5 cm wide and 9.5 cm tall.
An E27 holder sits inside the drum, under a brass-finish socket cup. The light passes through the stone, so the whole drum glows, with cloud-like veins lit from within.
Real alabaster, cut and polished by hand
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth over a very long time. It is soft and milky white, and it lets light through. That is why it glows.
A craftsman reads the block first, then cuts the drum, hollows it and polishes it by hand. He does not hide the stone’s marks. Each drum keeps its own milky tone and soft golden-grey veins, so no two look the same.
Switched off, it reads as calm white stone. Switched on, the veins come up from inside. A painted or glass shade can’t do that.

Light and fitting
It takes a standard E27 bulb, which sits inside the drum. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED bulb of up to 10 W for the warmest glow through the stone. It is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, for indoor, dry rooms only. It hangs on a black fabric cord, 1.5 m as standard, and your electrician shortens it to the right height at installation.
The ceiling canopy and the socket cup are 304-grade stainless steel in a brass finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1A). It is hard-wired. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.

Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in the bedroom in the evening, and no strong light right above the bed. So hang this pendant beside the bed, not over it. Fit a 3000K warm-white bulb and the stone gives exactly that low, yellow-white glow.
Vastu writers also favour shaded light that cuts glare, and no dark corners. A milky stone drum does both: you see the glow, not the bulb. East and north walls are the favoured places for fixtures. In a kitchen, the south-east is the fire zone, and warm, even light over the counter is the advice.

Is the shade real alabaster?
Yes. It is natural alabaster, cut and polished by hand. Each drum has its own milky tone and cloud-like veins, which are part of the stone, not flaws.

Can I hang several over one island or table?
Yes. A row of two or three looks calm and even. Hang the bases about 75–90 cm above the surface and space them 35–45 cm apart, centre to centre.
Can I dim it?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the metal parts rust?
No. The canopy and socket cup are 304-grade stainless steel in a brass finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations. Use it in bedrooms, kitchens, living and dining rooms, away from wet zones.
How do I clean it, and how fast will it reach me?
