Overview
One broken leaf, and your eye keeps going to the gap. This wave glass leaf chandelier part fills it.
It is a compact, curved leaf in clear borosilicate glass, 125 × 125 mm and 5 mm thick. One end sweeps out into a long, tapering tip. The other splits into two short lobes with scalloped ends, so the leaf seems to drift like a wave. Fine ribs flow along its whole length, and a thin gold-lustre line traces the rim.
It is a spare part, not a light: a box of 100 glass leaves for the chandelier or jhumar you already love, or the one you are building.
What is the wave glass leaf made of?
Clear borosilicate glass. It begins as natural raw ingredients: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, melted together until they flow.
Our glassworkers shape that hot glass by hand into the ribbed wave, in our own Greater Noida factory. Nothing is added to colour the body, so it stays crystal-clear. Only the rim carries its fine gold-lustre edge.
Borosilicate glass handles heat and sudden temperature change better than ordinary glass, and it resists corrosion. It keeps its clarity for years, close to the bulbs.
What does a ribbed wave leaf do to the light?
Light passes through the clear body clean. The ribs bend it along the curve and throw a soft, moving sparkle, without tinting the room.
The gold rim catches the glow at the edge, so each leaf is outlined in warm light. Hang them close together and the whole fixture shimmers in layers.
Where does a 125 mm glass leaf fit?
At 125 × 125 mm, it is short and near-square. That makes it ideal for dense leaf clusters and smaller chandelier arms, where a long leaf would crowd the frame.
It suits chandeliers and jhumars, hanging lights, wall lights, table lamps and floor lamps. Fabricators use it for new builds. Restorers use it to replace a leaf that cracked or went missing.
Before you order, measure one old leaf on your fitting. Not sure it matches? Send us a photo and its size, and we will check the fit for you.
Want to mix leaf shapes on one fixture? Pair it with the clear bamboo glass leaf for chandelier, a longer 150 mm leaf, or our twisted infinity glass leaf chandelier part, a ribbed 200 mm leaf. FAQ
Is this a finished light?
No. It is a box of glass leaves, a spare part for a chandelier or lamp you already have or are building. It has no holder, bulb or wiring.
How big is each wave glass leaf?
Each leaf is 125 mm long and 125 mm wide. It is 5 mm thick, a compact size for dense clusters and smaller arms.
How many leaves come in a box?
There are 100 wave glass leaves in every box. That is enough to dress a full jhumar or restore several fixtures.
Is the glass coloured?
No. The body is clear borosilicate glass with nothing added, so it never tints the light. Only the rim carries a thin gold-lustre edge.
Is it real borosilicate glass?
Yes. It is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. It handles heat better than ordinary glass and stays clear for years.
How do I clean the glass leaves?
Switch the light off and let it cool first. Wipe each leaf with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry it. Avoid rough pads, which can scratch the ribs and the gold rim.
How fast will it reach me?
A box in stock ships within 4 working days. If it is out of stock, we make it in 12–15 working days, and a custom size or colour takes 15–20 days. Shipping is free across India.
