Overview
Switch it on and one corner of your room turns into a soft, warm cloud of light. This white globe floor lamp carries twelve opal borosilicate glass spheres up a slim stand of 304-grade stainless steel, finished in polished gold. It stands 157.5 cm tall and plugs straight into the wall. No ceiling work. No drilling.
We call it Ambrosia. The spheres climb the stand in a loose spiral, so it reads like a sculpture even with the light off.

Opal glass, shaped by hand
Each sphere begins as borosilicate glass, melted from natural raw ingredients: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. White colour is added while the glass is made. That is opal borosilicate glass.
The glass is formed into a round 10 cm globe. In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman fits each sphere onto its short gold arm by hand and turns the spiral so no two globes face the same way.
Light it and the opal glass hides the bulb completely. No filament, no bright spot. Just twelve soft moons glowing together. Read more about borosilicate glass and why it stays clear and strong for years.
Where a white globe floor lamp works best
- Living room corner: Beside the main sofa, it makes a warm zone for your evenings. It suits rooms of about 10 sq m and up.
- Bedroom reading corner: Next to a lounge chair, the glow sits at seated eye level, with no glare from above before sleep.
- Hotel lobby or reception: Twelve lit spheres read well from across a busy room.
- Entrance corridor: The slim stand and 25 cm round base sit close to the wall, so guests walk into warmth.
Overhead lights are good for cleaning. At 9 pm you want something softer. Switch off the ceiling light, press the foot switch, and the room changes in seconds.
Light and fitting
The stand, arms and base are 304-grade stainless steel in a polished gold finish. The steel will never rust, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Each sphere holds a G9 bulb, so there are 12 in all. Bulbs are not included. Fit 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs of 4–6 W; each holder takes up to 28 W. The lamp is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm light.
A 1.8 m clear cord with a foot switch runs to any standard 5-amp socket on 220–230 V. It is rated IP20, made for indoor rooms. The whole lamp weighs about 5.4 kg.

Vastu
Vastu tradition values warm, soft light in the rooms where a family gathers. It holds that dark corners feel heavy, and suggests a floor lamp to fill them with gentle light rather than glare.
With 3000K warm-white bulbs, this white globe floor lamp does exactly that. Twelve opal spheres spread an even glow at eye level, with no harsh bright spot. Vastu guidance also asks for a bright, uncluttered north-east and a well-lit entrance. The slim stand fits either without crowding the space.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. A lamp like this is one small, warm part of that.

FAQ
How tall should a white globe floor lamp be for a living room?
Between 140 and 180 cm works best. That puts the light at eye level when you sit, without competing with lights above. Ambrosia stands 157.5 cm, which suits Indian rooms with 9-ft or higher ceilings.
What bulb does this lamp use?
It takes 12 G9 bulbs, and bulbs are not included. Fit 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs of 4–6 W each; any electrical shop stocks them. Each holder takes up to 28 W.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the gold stand rust?
No. The stand, arms and base are 304-grade stainless steel in a polished gold finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Is the glass real glass?
Yes. Every sphere is opal borosilicate glass, not plastic. It is clear borosilicate glass with white colour added while it is made, so it glows evenly and stays white.
Can I customise this white globe floor lamp?
Yes. We make it in-house, so a black, chrome or antique brass finish, a different number of spheres or a different height is possible. Custom pieces take 15–20 days.
How long does delivery take, and who sets it up?
In stock, it ships within 4 working days. If it is made for you, it takes 12–15 working days, and a custom finish or height takes 15–20 days. Shipping is free across India. Setup is simple: it stands on the floor and plugs in, and our team helps on a free video call if you need it.
Is this a white and gold floor lamp?
Yes. Twelve white opal borosilicate glass spheres sit on a 304-grade stainless steel stand in a polished gold finish. Switch it on and the white glass glows warm while the gold catches the light.
