Overview
Some rooms need a chandelier but don’t have the height for one. This fluted glass chandelier was made for them. It sits close to the ceiling, only 33 cm deep, and still fills the room with a warm glow.
It is a 9-light semi-flush ceiling chandelier in two tiers. The top tier is 65 cm wide. A smaller 39 cm tier steps down below it, cut into curved panels that overlap like open pages. Every edge is rimmed in polished gold.
Clear fluted borosilicate glass, set by hand
The glass is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. Nothing is added to colour it, so it stays crystal-clear. It is drawn into fine ribs, the flutes you see running from top to bottom.
Our craftsmen in Greater Noida set each curved glass panel into its gold frame by hand, one tier at a time. They line up the ribs so the light falls in straight, even lines.
Switch it on and nine candle bulbs glow through the ribs. The glass breaks the light into soft vertical stripes. You see a warm shimmer, never a bare bulb.
Where a fluted glass chandelier works best
In the centre of a living room, it gives the hall a focal point without hanging into your line of sight. In a bedroom, it brings a gentle glow overhead. Above a dining area, it lights the whole table evenly.

Light and fitting
The frame, ceiling plate and holders are 304-grade stainless steel with a polished gold finish. This steel will never rust, and we back it with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
It takes nine E14 candle bulbs. Bulbs are not included. Fit 4–6 W warm-white 3000K LED candles for a soft, even glow. The light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, made for indoor rooms.
We give free video-call help with fitting, and any licensed electrician can install it.

This chandelier fits that idea. With warm 3000K bulbs, its clear glass spreads light evenly, and it sits high and close to the ceiling, so it does not glare in your eyes. In a bedroom, Vastu advice is to avoid a strong light directly over the bed, so fix it at the centre of the room, not above the headboard.
