Black Gold Table Lamp with Drum Shade – Mid-Century 48 cm Steel Lamp

Some evenings need one small pool of warm light, not a bright room. This black gold table lamp gives you exactly that. A 25 cm matte black drum sits on a slim brushed gold stem, 48 cm tall, on a round black base. Switch it on and the light falls warm onto your table, while a soft glow lifts up through the opal disc in the top of the drum.

It is a mid-century shape, kept honest and simple. Black and gold, one clean line, nothing extra.

Black and gold, made in 304-grade stainless steel

Every metal part of this lamp is 304-grade stainless steel. Steel comes from the earth too, and in our Greater Noida factory our team shapes it into the drum, the stem and the base.

The drum, base and grip sleeve get a matte black finish. The stem gets a brushed gold finish. An opal diffuser disc is fitted into the top of the drum, so the bulb never shows.

That disc is what the light plays with. Light goes down through the open drum onto your book or desk. A gentle wash goes up through the disc, so the lamp glows from the top even when you look at it from across the room.

Matte black hides fingerprints. And because it is stainless steel, it will not rust, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

Light and fitting

The lamp takes one E27 bulb, up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 6–8 W LED in 3000K warm white for a golden glow that flatters skin, wood and dark sofas alike.

This light is not dimmable. It gives a steady, warm light.

There is an in-line on/off switch on the cord, so you can switch it from the bed or the desk. It plugs into a normal 220–240V home socket. Nothing to wire. If you need help, we give free video-call support.

It is rated IP20, made for indoor rooms. Wipe it with a dry or barely damp microfibre cloth. No chemical cleaners on the gold stem.
