Overview
A round, chunky base of carved wood standing on four little feet, under a drum shade of natural linen. This cute table lamp is just 28 cm tall, with a shade 20 cm across and a base 17 cm wide. It is small enough for the narrowest bedside table and full of character.
Switch it on and the linen glows warm. Light falls onto the rounded wood below and brings out every ring and swirl in the grain.
Carved wood and linen, shaped by hand
The base starts as one block of real wood. Our craftsman carves it by hand into a soft, rounded body and cuts four short feet underneath, then stains it a deep brown so the grain stands out like a map. A small turned wooden neck lifts the shade.
No two bases are the same. The knots and rings in each block fall differently, so your lamp carries its own pattern.
The shade is natural linen, a plant fibre with a fine, slightly uneven weave, stretched into a neat drum. It softens the bulb into a warm, even glow.
