Overview
This sculptural chandelier grows from a single textured 304 stainless steel stem that splits into three arms, each holding a long drop-shaped shade of natural alabaster. The metal has a dark, hand-worked surface that looks like cast bark or molten bronze, and the smooth stone drops glow warm against it. Each drop is 21 in (53 cm) tall and 7 in (18 cm) wide. The chandelier is 31.5 in (80 cm) across and 53 in (135 cm) tall, and every light uses an E27 holder.
Why choose this sculptural chandelier
- Three large drops of natural alabaster, each 21 in (53 cm) tall.
- A dark, textured 304 stainless steel stem and arms that read like a piece of sculpture.
- Smooth stone against rough metal: the contrast is the design.
- E27 holders, so bulbs are easy to buy and change.
Where it fits
At 31.5 in (80 cm) across and 53 in (135 cm) tall, this sculptural chandelier makes a statement in a living room with a high ceiling, an entrance or above a round dining table. Bulbs and lighting
This chandelier uses three E27 holders. Bulbs are not included. We recommend warm white 3000K LED bulbs for a soft glow through the stone. It is not dimmable.
About alabaster
Alabaster is a fine-grained natural stone, see alabaster on Wikipedia. Its translucence is what lets the drops glow when lit. Colour and veining vary from piece to piece, which is part of the stone’s character.
