Overview
You only notice a ceiling bracket when it fails. A pendant that tilts. A canopy that slowly works loose above the dining table. This ceiling light mounting bracket is the small steel part that stops that from happening.
A 4-inch steel plate that holds your light level
It is a round plate, 4 inches (about 10 cm) across, that fixes to a standard round ceiling outlet or junction box. Your pendant, chandelier, ceiling light or wall light then fixes to it.
Four upright tabs hold the canopy. Eight screw holes around the edge fix the plate to the box. A centre hole takes the rod or supply cable.
The standout detail is the pair of curved slots. Start the screws, turn the light until it sits straight, then tighten. No new holes in your ceiling.
Steel is the part that holds the material up
In a JagMag light, the stone, glass or cane is the hero. The steel is what carries it. This bracket is that steel, on its own.
We cut each plate from 304-grade stainless steel in our Greater Noida factory, punch the holes and slots, and bend the four tabs upright by hand.
It comes in two finishes. Black is a matte black finish on the steel. Gray is the natural surface of the stainless steel itself. Pick the one that matches your canopy.
Because it is 304 stainless steel, it carries our lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Which lights does a ceiling light bracket fit?
Any light that mounts to a round ceiling outlet box with a rod or cable: pendant lights, chandeliers, flush ceiling lights and wall lights.
It works as a hanging light bracket over a dining table, where the light must sit dead centre. It also works as a clean, round base behind a flush fitting.
Your box is square or rectangular? Fit a round adapter first. This plate is made for round boxes.
It is made for indoor use only. It is a spare part, not a light, so it has no bulb, wiring or electrical rating of its own.
How the bracket is fitted
Any electrician can fit it, and we help on a free video call if you need us.
Screw the plate to the outlet box through the screw holes. Pass the rod or cable through the centre hole. Use the curved slots to turn and level the light. Fix the canopy to the four tabs with the screws that came with your light.
