Why you’ll use it every day
Overhead lights are useful at noon. By 8 pm in an Indian living room, they flatten the space and add no warmth. This lamp does the opposite — it puts warm light at floor-to-ceiling level, beside where you actually sit, directed into the room at eye level. Turn the ceiling off, press the foot dimmer halfway, and the drawing room shifts from functional to calm in one step.
The foot dimmer is a round black puck on the cord — no reaching up, no app, no remote. Press and hold to raise or lower brightness. Release to hold it there. Press once more to turn off. That is the full interaction.
Because the LED runs the full 150 cm of the frosted diffuser tube, there are no hotspots and no shade-rim shadows. Light spreads upward and outward evenly — no glare on the TV screen, no single bright point drawing the eye. At full brightness it reads clearly across a room; dialled low, it becomes the soft glow you leave on all evening.
Light & finish
Unlit, the frosted white diffuser tube and gold-finish metal pole make a clean vertical line — easy in Scandinavian, Japandi, or neutral-toned interiors. Lit, the LED strip inside the tube radiates warm light the full 150 cm length with no hotspots or shadows. The gold metal base and stem pick up the warm tone and deepen it, warming the floor and lower walls around the base. At full brightness the lamp reads clearly across a room; dialled down on the foot dimmer, it becomes the kind of ambient glow you leave on through the evening.

In Vaastu Shastra, the south-east corner of a living room is traditionally associated with fire energy and warmth — a fitting location for a lamp that adds life without disrupting the room’s calm. Common questions
How tall should a floor lamp be for a living room?
For an Indian living room with a 9–10 ft ceiling, a floor lamp between 140–165 cm works well. This lamp stands 150 cm — at or slightly above seated eye level, putting warm light where you feel it rather than casting it from above.
Does this lamp dim all the way to off?
Yes. The foot dimmer puck adjusts brightness from 0% to 100%. Press and hold to dim progressively; release to hold at that brightness. A short press turns it off completely.
Is a bulb included or does it need replacing?
The LED is integrated into the diffuser tube — there is no bulb socket and nothing to replace. The LED is designed to last the working life of the lamp.
What comes in the box?
The lamp, foot dimmer puck, and external DC power adapter with Indian 2-pin plug are all included. No separate purchases are needed to start using the lamp.
Where in the room should this lamp go?
