Will it fit my interior?
Know your light
This single glass wall light is a one-arm bedside and hallway sconce built around a Ø120 mm cut-glass bell shade in a diamond-lattice pattern, mounted on a satin gold metal arm. At 375 mm tall with a 170 mm reach, it fits neatly on narrow wall panels and flanks headboards without crowding artwork or door frames. The defining detail is a hanging crystal bead stem below the arm — a stacked sequence of a clear faceted rondelle, red bicone crystal, clear round crystal ball, blue bicone crystal, and polished gold ball finial — that catches daylight when the fitting is off and glows warmly when lit.
Where it fits
- Bedside, flanking a headboard: Mount a matched pair at 140–160 cm from the floor, one on each side of the bed, for a hotel-suite finish that frees your nightstand from a table lamp and its trailing cord.
- Hallway and entrance: A single piece on a narrow hallway wall casts a warm, faceted light pattern on the plaster and marks the passage without obstructing foot traffic.
- Staircase landings: The slim 170 mm projection sits comfortably on staircase wall panels between treads where a bracket with greater reach would feel obtrusive.
- Hotel corridors and guestrooms: The IP20 rating and E14 fitting match standard hotel infrastructure; the crystal bead drop adds a signature detail that guests notice and remember.
Why you’ll use it every day
Reading in bed at night without waking a partner who is already asleep is one small pleasure this fitting handles well. The light comes from an upward-facing shade set at arm height rather than from a ceiling fitting — it puts warm, faceted light exactly where a book or phone is without flooding the room. The satin gold finish reads warm rather than glary in low-light conditions, and the crystal bead drop adds a point of interest that a plain metal sconce simply does not have. For anyone who wants to clear a nightstand of a table lamp base and a trailing cord, a wall-mounted sconce removes both problems in one fixture.
Light & finish
When switched on, the diamond-lattice cut-glass bell shade scatters warm, faceted light across the wall and ceiling above, creating a pattern that shifts with the angle of view. A warm white filament E14 bulb in a clear glass envelope — 2700–3000 K — makes the most of the diamond lattice; the facets catch the filament glow and multiply it across the surface. When switched off, the fitting reads as a sculptural object: the satin gold arm, the translucent glass bell, and the hanging crystal bead stem are all visible and decorative in daylight. The satin gold finish — warmer than polished chrome, softer than raw brass — pairs naturally with warm plaster walls, marble cladding, and classic wood panelling.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, glass and crystal are traditionally associated with the amplification of light and the upward movement of positive energy through a space. A sconce with an upward-facing shade — rather than one directing light downward — is considered aligned with Vaastu principles that favour light flowing toward open space. The warm satin gold finish is, in Vaastu tradition, associated with warmth and a welcoming atmosphere in the home. Mounted in symmetrical pairs on either side of a bed or doorway, the balanced placement is considered to promote harmony and a calm, settled energy in the room.

What buyers say
Common questions
What bulb does this single glass wall light take?
It uses one E14 candle-base bulb, not included. A warm white filament E14 in a clear glass envelope gives the best look through the cut-glass shade — the diamond-lattice pattern scatters the filament glow across the wall beautifully.
Can I buy two to flank a bed?
Yes — buying a matched pair gives you identical crystal bead colour and finish from the same production batch. Add two to your cart and we ship them together. If you want two light points from a single wall position instead, see the Double Glass Wall Light with twin E14 arms on one bracket.
Is this single glass wall light suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only — bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and hotel corridors. Keep it well away from shower zones and splash areas.
How far does this sconce project from the wall?
The arm extends 170 mm from the centre of the wall plate to the shade. The wall plate itself sits 25 mm proud of the wall surface.
What mounting height works best for a single glass wall light?
For bedside use, centre the wall plate at 140–160 cm from the floor to put the shade at comfortable reading height when sitting up. For hallways and staircases, 150–160 cm from the floor gives a good eye-level accent.
Can I get a different finish or a custom quantity?
We manufacture in Greater Noida and can supply antique brass, matte black or satin nickel finishes on a minimum of 2 pieces, with a 15–20 working day lead time. Contact us at jagmaglights@gmail.com for a quote.
