Where does a brass chandelier look best in an Indian home?
Dining rooms are the natural home for a 70 cm brass chandelier — hang it 75–90 cm above a six-seater table for the best spread of light. Drawing rooms with 12 ft or higher ceilings also work well, centred above the main seating. Hotel lobbies and reception areas benefit from the warm, welcoming signal the brass finish gives without being overly ornate.
What ceiling height does this brass chandelier need?
Nine feet is the practical minimum. At that height the fixture body clears standard head clearance and the drop rod can be shortened to keep the base at least 7 ft from the floor. Ten feet or above gives better visual proportion — the 70 cm diameter needs a little breathing room to read well from across the room.
How many bulbs does this brass chandelier use and what type?
Eight E14 holders — bulbs not included. Warm LED bulbs rated 3000K and 4–6W each are recommended: roughly 32–48W total for all eight, with the warm colour temperature that suits the brass finish well. Avoid cool-white bulbs (5000K+), which look harsh against the gold frame.
Can I adjust the drop of this brass chandelier for a lower ceiling?
The drop rod is adjustable at installation. For a 9-ft ceiling, use the shorter rod setting to keep the fixture body at least 7 ft above floor level. For ceilings below 8 ft, the 65 cm body height means there is not enough clearance — choose a flush or semi-flush fitting instead.
Can I get this brass chandelier in a different size or finish?
