Come home after dark and the gate is already glowing. This IP65 wall sconce is a 94 cm column of natural alabaster on a matte black 304-grade stainless steel frame. A built-in 3000K warm-white LED lights the stone from behind. Rain, dust and monsoon damp stay out.

Look closely and the stone has veins. Cream, ivory, a thread of honey-gold. No two panels carry the same pattern, so your pair at the gate is yours alone.

Real alabaster, cut by hand

Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth over a very long time. It belongs to the Stone family, like marble and onyx, but it lets light through.

Our craftsman in Greater Noida reads each block before he cuts it. Where do the veins run? Which face shows them best? He cuts the panel, polishes it, and leaves the natural marks alone. The edges stay a little darker where the stone is denser.

Switch it on and the stone glows from inside. Every vein shows. No painted or plastic diffuser can do that, because the glow comes from the stone itself.

Where does a tall outdoor wall sconce work best?

On the pillars of your main gate, one on each side. Flanking your front door, as a matched pair. On a boundary wall, a villa facade, a patio, an exterior corridor or a garden-facing wall.

The 94 cm height suits wide villa walls and walls at least 200 cm high. The 16 cm width keeps it in proportion on a narrower gate post. Mount it at 180–200 cm from the ground at a gate or boundary wall. On a covered staircase exterior, mount it at 130–150 cm above the step.

Along a garden path, space two units 3–4 metres apart. The pools of light meet, and the walk feels calm and planned.

Light, frame and fitting

The frame, backplate and top cap are 304-grade stainless steel in a matte black finish. Stainless steel does not rust in the monsoon. Every stainless part carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

The light is an integrated 3000K warm-white LED, built in, so you never fit a bulb. The LED module carries a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026. Warm 3000K stops the blue-white glare that makes outdoor fittings feel harsh. The stone softens it further into a calm amber-cream wash.

It is rated IP65: dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The LED and wiring sit sealed inside the stainless steel housing. It runs on 220–240V. It is not dimmable; it gives a fixed warm 3000K light.

Black against pale plaster or stone, with a cream glow in the middle. The modern-colonial line suits a contemporary villa or a heritage bungalow.
