Know your light
This alabaster wall light turns a plain wall into something worth looking at. Two natural alabaster stone cylinders — each uniquely veined, no two pieces identical — sit on a slim brass-finish metal arm with brass caps at the top and bottom. The integrated LED sends warm 3000K light upward and downward through the stone, creating a soft amber glow on the wall above and below. At 70 cm tall and just 6 cm wide, it reads as a precise vertical detail on the wall — or mount it horizontally as a floating bar of light.
Where it fits
This alabaster wall light works on almost any wall without overpowering the room. In a bedroom, mount it at 140–150 cm beside a headboard where the upward and downward glow replaces a bedside lamp. In a hallway, the slim profile adds warmth without narrowing the space. A pair of them flanking a large piece of artwork in a living room looks intentional and finished. For a different ambient style, see the Opal White Glass Wall Light – Black Tall Sconce, 54 cm. For a weatherproof outdoor option, the Black Outdoor Wall Light – Cube Up & Down LED Sconce is IP65-rated and directional.
Why you’ll use it every day
This alabaster wall light takes no floor space and asks nothing of your ceiling. It creates layered ambient light — the kind that makes a room feel settled and complete even without overhead lighting. Because it lights up and down at once, it fills both the upper and lower wall and gives a sense of height. The integrated LED is always ready — no bulb to swap, no warm-up time. On a dimmer switch, it goes from a gentle night glow to a steady reading light.
Light & finish
What makes an alabaster wall light different from any glass or metal fixture is how the light actually reaches the wall. It filters through the stone itself — translucent rather than transparent — softening and scattering inside the cylinder before emerging as a warm amber glow. No two pieces look identical, because no two slabs of alabaster carry the same veining. The brass-finish metal caps and central mount complement both warm and neutral interiors. Built in our Greater Noida factory — spare parts available for 10+ years, custom sizes and finishes on request with a 15–20 day lead time.
Vaastu & positive energy
An alabaster wall light placed on the south or west wall balances the energy of a room in Vaastu Shastra. Natural alabaster — formed slowly over centuries — carries a grounding quality that sits well in bedrooms and meditation spaces. Warm 3000K light promotes restful sleep and reduces eye strain in the evening. The brass-finish metal adds the warmth of the Agni (fire) element, and the stone’s gentle glow encourages calm rather than stimulation.

Common questions
Where does an alabaster wall light look best in an Indian home?
Bedrooms are the most popular placement — mount this alabaster wall light at 140–150 cm from the floor beside a headboard, where the warm up-and-down glow replaces a bedside table lamp. In a drawing room, two units flanking a large mirror or artwork create a symmetrical feature wall. Hallways and staircases also work well — the slim 6 cm profile doesn’t intrude on traffic space.
What bulb does this alabaster wall light use?
Integrated LED — built directly into the fixture, no separate bulb required and no socket to replace. The light is fixed at 3000K warm white. Because it’s integrated, no bulbs are included with the fitting. If you’d prefer a socket-based option to change colour temperature later, message Jagmag and we’ll point you to alternatives in our range.
How high should I mount this alabaster wall light?
At 140–150 cm from the floor for a bedside position — the 70 cm bar sits with its centre at roughly headboard height, keeping the up-and-down glow symmetrical on the wall. For a hallway or living room feature wall, mount at 180–200 cm so the upward light reaches the ceiling and the downward glow lands at eye level. For a staircase, match the fixture height to the step it serves.
How much does this alabaster wall light project from the wall?
Approximately 6 cm from the wall — the alabaster cylinders are 6 cm in diameter and the brass-finish backplate sits flush against the surface. For most rooms this is unnoticeable, but in a very narrow corridor keep at least 10 cm of clearance in front of the fixture for comfortable passage.
Can I get this alabaster wall light in a different size or finish?
Jagmag manufactures in-house in Greater Noida — custom lengths, different numbers of alabaster cylinders, and alternative metal finishes (chrome-finish, matte black, satin nickel) are available on request. Send your wall dimensions and preferred finish and we’ll quote you a 15–20 day lead time, far shorter than the 60–120 days typical for imported equivalents.
Does this alabaster wall light come with installation support?
Free video call support from Jagmag — any qualified electrician installs it in 20–30 minutes with standard back-plate wiring. Spare parts are available for 10+ years. Not sure what height suits your bedroom or hallway? Message Jagmag with your wall dimensions and we’ll advise in 5 minutes.
