Know your light
Most wall lights do one thing — light the wall. This crystal botanical wall sconce from Jagmag Lights does far more. Built to look like a cut branch of flowering plants, three ribbed clear glass globes sit like blossoms on gold metal stems, surrounded by clear ribbed glass leaves, amber cognac glass orbs, and clusters of white opal bead sprays on gold pin branches. Switch it on and the warm filament glow catches every glass surface — leaves, orbs, beads — and scatters a soft layered pattern onto the wall behind. Switch it off and it reads like sculpture.
The fixture is 900 mm tall and 350 mm wide — built to hold its own as a feature piece, not just a light source. SKU: JML-416. Made in India.
Where it fits
- Living room feature wall: A pair flanking a sofa or artwork creates a symmetrical focal point. The 350 mm spread fills the wall space between furniture without crowding it.
- Hallway or corridor: Mount two or three at 150–160 cm from the floor, spaced 200–250 cm apart — the gold branches give a narrow passage real character and a finished rhythm. Browse all our hallway wall lights to see companion pieces.
- Bedside: One on each side of a bedhead delivers warm reading light at exactly the right height, without occupying nightstand space.
- Hotel lobby or reception: The bouquet form scales confidently in double-height spaces. Pair symmetrically on a marble or dark-panelled feature wall for an immediate impression.
Why you’ll use it every day
The three G9 sockets give you genuine control — on a compatible LED dimmer you can pull the light down to a warm amber glow for evenings, or run all three globes at full brightness to light a corridor clearly. The ribbed glass diffuses the G9 filament so there is no harsh point of brightness at eye level, even when the globes are visible from a seated position. For bedside use, a 2700K G9 LED at 2–3 W per globe is enough to read by without disturbing a sleeping partner. Because the back plate is only 25 mm deep, the fixture sits close to the wall and casts no shadow gap.
Light & finish
Lit, the three ribbed glass globes glow from within like warm lanterns. The vertical ribbing breaks the G9 filament into fine lines of warm light, each catching in the glass leaves and orbs that surround it. The amber cognac orbs deepen the warm tone; the white opal bead sprays go soft and luminous. Unlit, the gold metal branches and glass elements read as a sculptural bouquet — the fixture earns its wall space in daylight as much as at night.
The gold finish pairs naturally with warm-toned interiors: cream or beige walls, teak and walnut furniture, marble surfaces, and dark-panelled walls. In a hotel corridor with repeated placement, the gold bouquets create a cohesive visual rhythm down the passage.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu Shastra, gold-toned metal is traditionally associated with warmth, prosperity, and the fire element — placing a gold fixture in the south or east zone of a room is considered auspicious for energy flow. Glass is associated with clarity and the free movement of light. A branching, upward-reaching form is in Vaastu traditionally considered to represent growth and forward movement. The way this sconce disperses warm light in multiple directions — through globes, leaves and bead sprays — aligns with the Vaastu principle of balanced, non-concentrated illumination across a space. A pair of sconces placed symmetrically on a wall is, in Vaastu, traditionally considered to support harmony and balance in the household.

What buyers say
Common questions
Can I use this in a hallway?
Yes. Mount it at 150–160 cm from the floor to the centre of the back plate. For a long corridor, space them every 200–250 cm — the repetition of gold branches creates a polished, layered passage.
What height should I mount this?
For hallways and bedside: 150–160 cm from floor to back plate centre. For living room or hotel feature walls: 180–210 cm works well so the full 900 mm body sits at standing eye level.
What bulb should I use?
G9 LED, 2–4 W, warm white (2700K). This makes the ribbed glass globes glow amber and brings out the texture of the leaves and orbs. Avoid daylight bulbs (6500K) — they make the glass look cold and grey.
Can I use two as a pair?
Yes — the fixture looks excellent used symmetrically. Pair them flanking a bed, framing a mirror, or either side of a feature wall. Keep them at the same mounting height, equidistant from the centre.
Do the bulbs come included?
No. The fixture ships without bulbs. You will need 3×G9 LED bulbs — warm white, 2–4 W, 2700K.
Can I put this on a dimmer?
G9 LED bulbs are dimmer-compatible when paired with a leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer that supports LEDs. With three 2–4 W G9 LEDs the total draw is 6–12 W — check your dimmer’s minimum load rating, as some older dimmers require a higher minimum load. A modern LED-compatible dimmer works without issue.
