Overview
This glass table lamp is one of those rare pieces that earns a place on the bedside table and never lets go. The Ottie is built around a handblown glass body scattered with black and soft aubergine spots on a cream-clear ground — no two bodies are identical. A brass-finish metal collar and stem carry a tapered 10-inch grey linen shade, turning the glass table lamp into a sculptural object by day and a warm pool of light by night. At 50 cm overall, this glass table lamp is sized for real bedside tables and side tables, not just decorator displays.
Where it fits
The Ottie glass table lamp is made for intimate spaces — the bedside table, a corner side table in the bedroom, or a console table in the entryway. Pair it with the Glass Table Lamp – Black Smoked Dome for a bold tonal contrast, or complement it with the Fluted Glass Mushroom Table Lamp for a cohesive glass-focused vignette in a living room or reading nook. The glass table lamp works equally well in guest rooms where you want the décor to feel considered without being overpowering.
Why you’ll use it every day
The glass table lamp gives soft, diffused warm light that never feels harsh at the end of the day. Because the handblown body filters and gently scatters the glow from the E27 bulb, you get a bedside ambience that works for winding down, reading one last chapter, or simply leaving a low night-light on. The linen shade further softens the output, so the glass table lamp produces layered, glare-free illumination that flatters any bedroom palette — whether your walls are warm ivory, deep green, or dusty terracotta.
Light & finish
This glass table lamp runs on an E27 fitting and delivers a 3000K warm white glow when paired with a 5W LED bulb — the kind of light that makes skin tones look rich and walls feel cosy rather than clinical. The handblown body is finished in cream-clear borosilicate glass with scattered black and aubergine spots; no two pieces are exactly alike, giving every glass table lamp a genuinely one-of-a-kind quality. The brass-finish metal collar and stem add a refined vintage note without making the lamp feel fussy or overdone.

In Vaastu Shastra, warm-toned lighting on the south-east or north-east side of a bedroom is considered auspicious, drawing in positive energy during evening hours. A glass table lamp with a cream handblown body and brass-finish metal detailing aligns well with these principles — glass is associated with clarity, and brass with warmth and prosperity. Place this glass table lamp on the right-side bedside table as you face the bed for a sense of balance and calm in the room.
Care

FAQ
Where does a glass table lamp look best?
A glass table lamp works best on a bedside table, a console table in a hallway, a side table beside an armchair, or on a bookshelf corner. The Ottie’s compact 50 cm height suits surfaces between 55–70 cm tall, keeping the shade at a comfortable eye level when you are seated or lying down.
What light source does this glass table lamp use?
This glass table lamp takes one E27 bulb up to 40W. We recommend a 5W warm-white LED (around 400 lumens) for a cosy 3000K glow without generating excess heat near the linen shade.
Is the glass table lamp suitable for bedside use?
Yes — at 50 cm tall the glass table lamp puts the shade at the ideal height to read by or wind down with, and the warm 3000K light is easy on the eyes so it will not disrupt your sleep routine.
How do I clean a glass table lamp?
Wipe the glass body with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Clean the brass-finish metal collar with a dry cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. Remove the linen shade and dust it with a soft brush or lint roller every few weeks to keep it looking fresh.

The finish looks decent in person, and the light feels calm in the evening on the study table.
