Overview
Some evenings you don’t want the big light on. You want one warm glow beside you, and the rest of the room going quiet. This fabric table lamp gives you exactly that.
It is a slim cylinder of woven linen, 50 cm tall, standing on a 15 cm round base of 304-grade stainless steel. The shade wraps the bulb on every side, so you see a soft column of light, not a bright point.
Why a linen shade gives a softer glow
Linen belongs to the fibre family. It is woven from the flax plant, one of the oldest cloths people have made.
In our Greater Noida workshop the linen is cut to size, stretched around the cylinder and bound neatly at both rims. A white lining sits inside, so the light comes out even.
Switch it on and the weave shows. Tiny thick and thin threads catch the glow, and the whole shade turns a warm honey colour. Light also spills from the open top onto the wall.
The shade comes in three linen colours: oatmeal, coffee brown and rust red. Linen is a natural fibre, so the weave varies a little from one shade to the next.
Where a slim fabric table lamp works best
Its 15 cm footprint fits where wider lamps don’t. A narrow bedside table. A hallway console. A study desk that is already full of books.
- Bedroom: a gentle reading glow that won’t light up the whole room. See more bedside table lamps.
- Living room: on a low side table beside the sofa, for warm light at sitting height. Browse table lamps for the living room.
- Study corner or console: soft light for the evening, without glare.
Linen sits happily with cane, rattan and raw wood. For a matched pair of natural-material lamps, put it beside our Wooden Bedside Lamp with Linen Shade.
Light, fitting and the steel underneath
The stem and the round base are 304-grade stainless steel with a satin nickel finish. It is the frame that carries the linen, and it will not rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
The lamp takes one E14 bulb, up to 40W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 4 to 6W for the softest glow. This lamp is not dimmable.
It is a plug-in table lamp, made for indoor rooms (IP20) and 220–240V. If you want help setting it up, we will guide you on a free video call.

Vastu
Vastu tradition treats the bedroom as a place to rest. Most Vastu guides suggest soft, warm, yellowish light in the evening, and lamps rather than a harsh light right above the bed.
This lamp follows that idea. Its linen shade softens a 3000K warm-white bulb into a calm glow at bed height. Linen is a natural fibre, the kind of grounding material Vastu has always valued.
Vastu thinking also asks you not to leave corners dark. One slim lamp on a side table lights a corner without crowding it. Think of Vastu as a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right to come back to.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Dust the fabric shade with a soft, dry brush and keep water off it.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning.
·Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off and unplug the lamp, and let the bulb cool, before you clean it.

Use an E14 bulb; we suggest a 3000K warm-white LED of 4 to 6W. The bulb is not included, and the holder takes up to 40W.
Is this lamp dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.

How do I set it up and clean it?

In stock, it ships in 4 working days; if not, we make it for you in 12–15 working days, with free shipping across India. The shade comes in oatmeal, coffee brown or rust red, so message us with your choice; a colour or size of your own takes 15–20 days.
