Know your light

The gold candle cup cover is a brushed gold metal component, 40 mm wide and 25 mm tall, that slips over the base of each chandelier candle arm to hide the socket, the bracket joint and the wiring beneath it. A central hole on the top face passes the candle tube or threaded rod through; the underside is open and hollow so it drops neatly over the fitting. Use one per arm on multi-arm chandeliers, jhumars, wall lights or any fitting that carries E14 candle tubes.

Where it fits

  • Multi-arm chandelier arms with E14 candle tubes — one cover per arm hides the socket collar and wiring joint for a finished, uniform look.
  • Jhunmar and crystal chandeliers where the arm-to-socket join is exposed and breaks the visual line of the fixture.
  • Wall sconces and floor lamps that use standard E14 candle-tube fittings and need a neat base detail.
  • DIY or assembled fixtures where builders want every arm to carry the same clean, jewellery-like base from the start.

Why you’ll use it every day

When one cup on an old chandelier tarnishes or goes missing, the whole fixture looks uneven — a fresh gold cover brings that arm back to showroom condition in seconds without any rewiring. If you are building a fixture from scratch, fitting a cover on every arm before hanging means you never have to climb back up to finish the detail later. The brushed gold finish hides minor fingerprints that a mirror-polished surface would show, so the arm stays presentable in daily use.

Light & finish

This cover does not emit or direct light — it is a finishing component. Its role is to make the arm look resolved and complete rather than improvised. The brushed gold exterior catches ambient light with a warm, muted gleam rather than a hard reflection, which suits traditional, transitional and Art Deco interiors. It pairs naturally with antique brass metal or antique gold metal frames, and holds its appearance in the typical humidity of Indian homes without needing any special care.

Vaastu & positive energy

In Vaastu, gold-toned metal is traditionally associated with warmth and a sense of richness, and is often preferred for decorative accents in the north and north-west zones of a home. The rounded, edge-free cup form is traditionally considered calming because it keeps the visual energy of a fixture smooth rather than sharp. Placed evenly across every arm, the repeated symmetry supports the balance that Vaastu-oriented interiors value in overhead lighting.

Common questions

What is a candle cup cover used for?

It sits at the base of each chandelier candle arm and hides the socket, bracket joint and wiring so the arm looks clean and finished. One cover is needed for each candle arm on the fixture.

What size is this cover?

40 mm in diameter and 25 mm tall, with a central hole on the top face for the candle tube or threaded rod to pass through.

What is it made of?

Brushed gold metal with a warm, muted finish that holds up in typical indoor conditions without tarnishing.

Will it fit my chandelier?

It suits standard E14 candle tubes on most multi-arm chandeliers. Measure the outer diameter of your existing socket cup before ordering to confirm the 40 mm cover will clear it.

Does it come with a bulb or socket?

No — it is a decorative cover only. Bulbs, sockets and wiring are sold separately.

Can I use it on wall lights or floor lamps?

Yes. Any fitting that uses a standard E14 candle tube — including wall sconces, floor lamps and table lamps — can use this 40 mm cover.

Is a bulb included?

No. This light takes a E14 bulb and the bulb is supplied separately, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature you want. We only include the light source when it is a built-in LED that cannot be replaced by the user.
