Gold Textured Glass Chandelier Component – Borosilicate 300mm

One cracked strip can make a whole jhumar look tired. This gold textured glass chandelier part is how you bring it back. It is a flat strip of gold-lustre borosilicate glass, 300 mm long, made in our own Greater Noida factory.

The surface is covered in small raised pebbles, like rain on a window. Each strip has a small hole near one end. Hang a row of them on a chandelier, jhumar or wall light, and they turn into a warm, glittering curtain.

This is a chandelier spare part, not a light. It has no bulb, no wiring and no fitting of its own. You use it to repair a light you already own, or to build a new one.

Gold-lustre borosilicate glass, coloured while it is made

Borosilicate glass begins with the earth: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, melted together. It is crystal-clear and pure.

For this strip, gold lustre is added while the glass is made. So the gold is part of the glass, not paint on top. It will not peel, flake or wipe off when you clean it.

The pebbled texture is in the glass itself. Switch the light on and every little bump catches it, so the strip glows amber-gold and throws warm sparkle across the room. Borosilicate also resists heat and thermal shock, and it does not corrode, so it sits close to a bulb year after year.
