Gold Floor Lamp – 12 Amber Glass Spheres, 157.5 cm

Some evenings you don’t want the big light on. You want a warm glow at the height you sit, and a corner that feels lived in. This gold floor lamp does that with twelve amber glass spheres.

It stands 157.5 cm tall. Twelve spheres, each 10 cm across, spiral around the top of a slim stem in a 26 cm cluster. Switch it on and every sphere glows like honey. Switch it off and it still looks like a sculpture in the room.

Amber borosilicate glass, set by hand on a gold stem

Each sphere is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. The amber colour is added while the glass is made, so it lives inside the glass. Nothing is painted on.

In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman fits the twelve spheres one at a time around the stem. He turns each one so the cluster looks full from every side. The stem and the 25 cm round base are 304-grade stainless steel with a polished gold finish.

Light passes through the amber glass and softens. You see a warm halo on the wall and ceiling, not a bare bulb. In daylight, the spheres turn a soft honey colour.

Where a gold floor lamp works best

• Living room or drawing room: behind the sofa or beside the TV console. At 157.5 cm, the glow sits at seated eye level in rooms from 10 sq m upward.
• Bedroom reading corner: beside a chair or the end of a wardrobe. Twelve spheres give enough warm light for a 12–15 sq m room.
• Entrance corridor: the 25 cm base fits tight spots, and the 1.8 m cord reaches a wall socket without an extension.
• Hotel suite or open lounge: it reads as sculpture by day and fills the room with soft light at night.

It loves warm rooms: velvet sofas, warm wood, rust, ochre, ivory and deep green. Modern, transitional, Art Deco and maximalist homes all take it well. In a cool-grey room lit only by cool-white light, the amber can feel out of place. Keep it about 30 cm from the wall.

Light, bulbs and fitting

There are 12 G9 bulb holders, one inside each sphere. Bulbs are not included. Fit 12 G9 LED bulbs in 3000K warm white, up to 5W each. That warm white gives the honey glow you see in our photos.

This lamp is not dimmable. It runs on 220–230V, 50/60Hz, and is rated IP20, made for indoor rooms.

Nothing goes into your ceiling or wall. Stand it up, plug the 1.8 m cord into a standard 5A socket, and use the on/off switch on the cord. The round base stands steady on tile, marble or wood. Want help fitting the twelve spheres? We walk you through it on a free video call.

The stainless steel stem and base will never rust. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
