Overview
The white globe floor lamp Ambrosia by Jagmag Lights stands 157.5 cm tall with twelve 10 cm opal-glass spheres arranged in a staggered vertical cluster on a polished gold-finish metal frame. Each sphere houses a G9 bulb, spreading warm diffused light in every direction. Plug into any standard Indian 5-amp socket — no ceiling work, no electrician, no drilling required.
Where it fits
- Drawing room corner: Place beside the main sofa to create a warm accent zone that works as a visual centrepiece even when switched off. Suits rooms 10 sq m and above.
- Hotel lobby or reception alcove: The 157.5 cm silhouette commands attention at eye level in high-traffic spaces; twelve lit spheres read well from a distance.
- Bedroom reading corner: Position beside a lounge chair — diffused light at seated eye level without overhead glare before sleep.
- Entrance corridor: The slim gold pole and 25 cm round base fit comfortably against a wall, making first impressions warm before guests enter the main room.
Why you’ll use it every day
Overhead lights illuminate rooms evenly — useful when you’re cleaning, frustrating at 9pm when all you want is warmth. This white globe floor lamp places twelve points of soft light at eye level exactly where you’re seated. The opal borosilicate glass removes visible filament and hot spots entirely; what you see is one continuous cloud of warm light from the combined output of twelve G9 bulbs.
Switch off the ceiling light, plug this in, and the mood in the room shifts in seconds. No drilling, no electrician, no contractor wait — the 1.8 m cord reaches any standard 5-amp socket. When guests arrive, the gold frame and twelve staggered spheres catch daylight and hold attention from across the room.
Light & finish
Unlit, the Ambrosia reads as sculpture: twelve white opal spheres clustered asymmetrically on a polished gold pole, 157.5 cm tall with a 25 cm disc base that sits flat on marble, tile, or wood. The gold-finish metal catches ambient daylight from nearby windows and reflects it softly across the room.
Lit at 3000K warm white (the recommended colour temperature for G9 LEDs in this fitting), the twelve spheres produce a colour close to candlelight — flattering to skin tones and warm interior palettes of beige, cream, terracotta, or walnut. The opal borosilicate glass diffuses each bulb completely: no visible filament, no hot spot, no directional glare. For warm amber drama in the same multi-sphere cluster, see the Gold Floor Lamp with Amber Glass Spheres.
Sphere shade: opal borosilicate glass, Ø 10 cm, 12 spheres. Frame, pole, and base: gold-finish metal. Power cord: 1.8 m with standard Indian 5-amp plug. IP20 — indoor use only. Brand: Jagmag Lights, made in India.
Total height: 157.5 cm (62 in). Sphere cluster width: Ø 26 cm. Each sphere: Ø 10 cm. Base diameter: Ø 25 cm. Base height: 2.5 cm. Cord length: 1.8 m.
Light points: 12. Bulb holder: G9 × 12. Bulbs not included. IP rating: IP20 (indoor use only).
Freestanding floor lamp — no ceiling work or wall mounting required. Place on any level floor surface. The 25 cm round base sits stable on marble, tile, or hardwood. Cord routes to the nearest 5-amp wall socket; 1.8 m cord length. Recommended minimum ceiling height: 8 ft (244 cm). Minimum floor space needed: 25 cm × 25 cm base footprint.

Vastu
In Vaastu, round forms are traditionally associated with unobstructed energy flow and completeness. Twelve opal-glass spheres arranged in a vertical cluster — soft white, fully diffused — are considered aligned with calm, welcoming energy in living spaces. The gold-finish metal frame is associated in Vaastu with warmth and prosperity when placed in the south or south-east zone of a drawing room. Opal mineral glass, a natural material, is traditionally preferred over synthetic diffusers for spaces where positive energy is a priority.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning.
·Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off and unplug the lamp, and let the bulb cool, before you clean it.
FAQ
How tall should a white globe floor lamp be for a living room?
A white globe floor lamp for living rooms works best between 140–180 cm — tall enough to put light at eye level when seated, without competing with pendant lights above. The Ambrosia stands 157.5 cm, which suits Indian rooms with 9-ft or higher ceilings.
Can a white globe floor lamp replace a ceiling light?
Yes — for ambient and mood lighting, a white globe floor lamp with twelve spheres produces enough diffused output to replace ceiling lights in the evening. For reading fine print, keep a desk lamp nearby.
What bulb does this white globe floor lamp use?
This white globe floor lamp takes 12 × G9 bulbs (not included). G9 LED bulbs rated 4–6W at 3000K warm white give the best glow and are widely available at Indian electrical shops and on Amazon or Flipkart.
Where is this white globe floor lamp made?
Made by Jagmag Lights in Greater Noida, India. All components — spheres, frame, base — are manufactured and assembled in-house. Replacement spheres and spare parts are available directly from Jagmag for 10+ years after purchase.
Can I customise this white globe floor lamp?
Yes — Jagmag manufactures in-house. Custom finishes (black, chrome, antique brass), sphere counts, and heights are available on request. Lead time is 15–20 working days for custom pieces.
How long does delivery take for this white globe floor lamp?
In stock, it ships within 4 working days. If it is made for you, it takes 12–15 working days, and a custom finish or height takes 15–20 days. Shipping is free across India, and our team helps you set it up on a free video call.
Is this a white and gold floor lamp?
Yes. Twelve white opal borosilicate glass spheres sit on a 304-grade stainless steel frame in a polished gold finish. Switch it on and the white glass glows warm while the gold frame catches the light.

The floor lamp looks neat near the sofa corner, and the warm finish works well with the room.
