Overview
Some corners just need a glow. This glass globe floor lamp puts three soft moons of light beside your sofa, right at the height where you sit and talk.
It stands 150 cm tall. Three opal borosilicate glass globes, 15, 12 and 10 cm across, sit at three heights on one slim gold stem. A tap of your foot on the cord switch turns them on. No drilling, no electrician. Plug it in and the room changes.
Why opal borosilicate glass gives such a soft light
Borosilicate glass begins as sand. Silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina are melted together into glass that stays clear and pure for life.
For these globes, white is added while the glass is made. That is what opal glass is. The light from each bulb spreads through the whole globe, so you see a round, even glow and never a bright point.
In our Greater Noida factory, our team brushes the steel, wires the stem and fits each globe to its own arm by hand. Switch it off and it still works for you: three white spheres on a brushed gold line, like a quiet piece of sculpture.
Where a globe floor lamp works best
- Beside the sofa in your living room. At 150 cm, the warm light sits at seated eye level. A ceiling light never does that.

Light, steel and set-up
The stem, arms and round 25 cm base are 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed gold finish. The base is weighted, so the lamp stands steady. The steel will never rust, and we back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Each globe holds a G9 bulb, up to 15 W. Bulbs are not included; fit three 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs for the warmest glow. The lamp runs on 220–240 V and is not dimmable. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms.
Set-up takes a few minutes. Fit the bulbs and globes, plug into a regular wall socket and tap the foot switch. If you want a hand, we will guide you on a free video call.

FAQ
How tall is this globe floor lamp, and will it suit my living room?
It is 150 cm tall on a 25 cm base and needs about 30 × 30 cm of floor. That puts the glow at seated eye level and leaves over a metre of space under a 9-ft ceiling, so it suits rooms from 10 sq m.
Which bulbs does it take?
It takes three G9 bulbs, up to 15 W each, which are not included. Fit 3–5 W, 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs: they run cool inside the glass and give a soft, golden glow. Any electrical shop stocks them.
Is this lamp dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Is the gold stand real brass, and will it rust?
No, the gold is a brushed gold finish on 304-grade stainless steel. The steel will never rust, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The globes are real opal borosilicate glass.
Is the glass fragile, and what if a globe breaks?
Opal borosilicate glass is thick and sturdy, much stronger than thin decorative glass. If a globe ever breaks, you can order just that globe from us, even 10 years from now, because we make every part ourselves.
