Overview
Picture your dining table at eight in the evening. One long line of warm stone, glowing above the plates. That is what this stone chandelier does to a room.
It is a bar of 304-grade stainless steel, 183 cm (72 in) long, in a bronze finish, hung from your ceiling on two steel rods. Eight pebbles of natural alabaster sit along it, each on its own G9 holder. Some sit in front of the bar, some behind it, and one climbs the left rod. So the line never feels stiff.
Want something lighter? The same frame comes with pebbles of opal borosilicate glass. Choose the one you want at the top of this page.

What makes a stone chandelier glow from inside?
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth. It belongs to the same family as marble and travertine, but it does one thing they cannot. It lets light through.
A craftsman looks at the stone before deciding how to work with it. Where to cut. Which vein to keep. Then he rounds each pebble by hand and polishes it until the surface feels soft. Every pebble is shaped a little differently, so the piece feels natural, not moulded.
Switch it on and the stone glows from inside. You get a warm, cloudy light with no glare, and the veins show like clouds. Veining and tone differ from piece to piece, so no two of these stone chandeliers look exactly the same.
The glass version is a different kind of beautiful. Borosilicate glass is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white colour added while the glass is made. The frosted surface makes the light more even and slightly brighter, and it weighs less than stone.
Where does a linear stone chandelier work best?
One round chandelier looks lost over a long table. A linear chandelier spreads the light along the full length, so every seat is lit evenly.
- Dining table: best over a 6 to 10 seater table. Hang the bottom of the fixture 75-85 cm above the tabletop.
- Kitchen island: works over an island or breakfast counter of 180 cm or more.
- Living room and foyer: a feature light over a long console, sofa wall or entrance.
- Commercial: restaurants, hotel lobbies, reception counters and showrooms.
It suits modern, Japandi, contemporary and organic interiors. A calm line of light, not a crowded cluster. Will it fit my interior?
| Space | Fit |
|---|---|
| Dining table, 6-10 seats | Ideal. Choose a table at least 150 cm long. |
| Kitchen island | Good over an island of 180 cm or more. |
| Small table (under 120 cm) | Too long. A single pendant light suits it better. |
| Ceiling height 9-12 ft | Rod length can be adjusted at installation. |
| Modern, Japandi, organic decor | Matches naturally. |

Vastu
Vastu tradition usually places the dining area in the west or north-west of the home. It asks for warm colours and soft, gentle light in the evening, and it warns against harsh glare. It also favours natural materials such as stone and wood over plastic.
This piece sits well with that thinking. Stone is a grounding material, and alabaster’s gentle glow suits the rooms where a family gathers. A long, even line of light leaves no dark end on the table. Fit 3000K warm-white bulbs, keep the chandelier centred over the table, and avoid hanging it directly under a beam.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We take it in that spirit, not as a promise of luck.
