Geometric Table Lamp – Origami Folded Wood Base, 54 cm

This geometric table lamp turns origami into a piece of home decor — a faceted, angular wood base folded into sharp planes under a tapered linen shade, standing 54 cm tall. The dark, hand-finished wood with bronze-toned highlights gives this geometric table lamp a sculptural depth that most lamps at this size simply cannot match. The 280 mm wide shade channels a warm, even glow downward and outward, filling the surface around it with soft amber light. Compact enough for a bedside table yet striking enough to anchor a console or study shelf, this geometric table lamp is a piece you notice before you even switch it on.

Where it fits

The geometric table lamp is a natural match for contemporary, Japandi, or mid-century modern interiors where clean angular lines carry the aesthetic without effort. It works equally well on a bedside table in a pared-back bedroom, a hallway console that needs a sculptural focal point, or a study corner that wants visual interest alongside functional light. For a cohesive natural-material palette in the same room, pair it with the Sculptural Table Lamp – Carved Wood or the Wooden Sphere Table Lamp for a layered, earthy look. The geometric table lamp holds its ground equally well in strongly lit rooms and dimly lit corners.

Why you’ll use it every day

A geometric table lamp this well-proportioned is genuinely easy to live with — it plugs in, lights up, and asks nothing more of you. The linen shade handles everyday dust without looking tired, and the dark wood base resists minor marks and scuffs from daily handling. Because the E27 fitting accepts any standard bulb, you can dial in exactly the colour temperature you want without rewiring or modification. Switch to a 3000K warm white LED and the geometric table lamp becomes an evening mood piece; leave it on through the afternoon for soft fill light at a reading corner. The origami-folded base catches ambient light differently at every hour, making this a lamp that rewards a second look long after the novelty of the form has settled in.

Light & finish

Pair this geometric table lamp with a 3000K warm white LED (6–9W is ample) to bring out the bronze-toned highlights in the dark hand-finished wood base — cooler daylight bulbs will flatten the depth and wash out the earthy finish. The tapered linen shade distributes light evenly downward and outward, creating a soft ambient pool rather than a directed beam, which makes the geometric table lamp ideal as bedside mood lighting or as an accent piece in a lounge corner. The dark hand-finished wood surface is durable and scratch-resistant; the fabric shade wipes clean with a dry microfibre cloth. No harsh chemicals are needed — the materials are low-maintenance by design.
