Overview
One globe on your chandelier has cracked, and that arm now sits bare. Or you want one calm spot of blue among plain white globes. This blue glass ball for chandelier fills that gap.
It is a 7.5 inch (about 190 mm) round glass ball for a chandelier, jhumar or lamp arm. The glass is a soft, translucent blue with gentle cloudy tones and a smooth satin surface. It is a spare part, not a light. You fit it onto a light you already own.
What is this blue glass ball made of?
This ball is borosilicate glass. That is clear, pure glass melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. Blue colour is added while the glass is made, so the colour sits in the glass, not on top of it. It will not peel or fade like a paint.
Each ball is made by hand in our Greater Noida factory. The craftsman shapes the sphere, then forms one round opening at the top, with a short rim that sits over the holder collar. Because the glass is worked by hand, the soft cloudy tones change a little from ball to ball.
Borosilicate glass handles the heat of a lamp well. So the ball stays good on a light you switch on every evening, for years.
Switch the light on and the glass glows a gentle blue, and the cloudy tones show through. By day it still reads as a smooth blue sphere on the arm.
Which lights does a 7.5 inch glass ball fit?
At 190 mm across, this is one of our larger glass balls. It suits:
- Multi-arm chandeliers and jhumars. Replace a cracked or missing globe, or refit every arm in blue.
- Large pendants and hanging lights. One big blue ball makes a strong centre point over a table.
- Table and floor lamps. A plain lamp gets a bold point of colour.
- Wall lights. On a wide arm or bracket, the blue reads clearly from across the room.
- Custom builds. For designers and restorers who need a colourful globe made to the same size, again and again.
Holder collars vary between fittings. So measure the opening of your old globe first. Send us that number and a photo, and we will tell you if this ball fits.
Which bulb looks best inside a blue glass ball?
Use a 3000K warm-white LED in the parent light. Warm light softens the blue and keeps the room feeling cosy, not cold. This part has no wiring, holder or bulb of its own.

Care

No. This is a glass ball shade only, with no holder, wire or bulb. It goes on a chandelier, jhumar or lamp you already own.
Will this glass ball fit my chandelier?
It fits fittings with a holder collar that matches its opening. Measure the opening of your old globe and send it to us with a photo, and we will confirm the fit.
Is the blue a paint or coating?
No. The blue is added while the borosilicate glass is made, so it is part of the glass. It does not peel or chip with normal indoor use.
