Raindrop Crystal Chandelier – Multi-Tier K9 Cascade for Staircase and Foyer

Stand at the foot of your stairs and look up. A crystal chandelier for staircase voids should fill that whole height with light, not just the top of it. This one does. Strands of real K9 crystal fall in tiers from a polished steel plate, on a drop of 6 ft to 20 ft.

It is a raindrop cascade. Clear crystal rods, faceted crystal balls and small octagon beads hang on fine wires. They gather into rings that step down, wide at the top and slim at the bottom, like a fountain of light frozen in place.

Real K9 crystal, hung by hand

K9 is optical crystal. It is clear right through and cut with flat facets, and each facet bends the light that hits it.

In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman cuts every wire to its length and threads the crystal on by hand. He sets the height of each tier so the rings line up when the piece hangs. Every strand is checked before it is packed.

Switch it on and the lights in the plate shine down through the strands. The crystal breaks that light into small flashes and throws them across your walls and steps. By day, it catches the sun from your stairwell window too.

The plate comes round or rectangular (a square plate, as wide as it is long). Pick the drop that leaves enough head room above your top landing. Between two sizes? We make the drop to suit your ceiling.

Where a staircase hanging light like this works

Hang it centred over the staircase void, so the cascade travels down past every landing. It works just as well in a double-height foyer, where it is the first thing a guest sees through the door.

Light, steel and fitting

The plate, canopy and wires are 304-grade stainless steel, finished in gold, black, silver or rose gold. This steel does not rust, even in humid Indian monsoons. We back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

The lights sit in G9 holders set into the plate, and the number of holders grows with the size. Each holder takes up to 40W. The bulbs are not included: fit 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs for a soft, golden glow through the crystal.

It runs on 220–240V. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms. It is not dimmable, so it gives one steady warm light. The plate fixes flat to your ceiling, and we give free video-call support while your electrician fits it.
