Overview
The day is done. You want one soft light beside the bed, not the whole ceiling on.
This bedside wall light gives you exactly that. Two opal borosilicate glass globes and two brushed-brass beads are strung on one slim stem, like a string of sweets. It stands 59 cm tall and lights up with a built-in warm 3000K LED. Hang one beside the bed, or a matched pair either side of the headboard. Your bedside table stays completely free.
Glass that glows, steel that stays
Each globe is borosilicate glass. It is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. White is added while the glass is made. That is what makes it opal.
Switch it on and the light passes through that white glass and softens. You get an even, shadow-free glow, with no hot spot and no glare from any angle.
The stem, the round backplate, the cross-bar and the two beads are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed satin brass finish. Our craftsman threads the beads and globes onto the stem by hand, one after the other, and lines them up so the string hangs true. The frame is light but rigid, and the backplate sits flush on the wall.
The steel will not rust. Orders from 4 October 2026 carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on every stainless steel part.
Where this bedside wall light works
Beside the bed is its home. Mount it 140–150 cm from the floor, so the globe sits near eye level when you sit up to read. One suits a compact guest room or a child’s bedroom. A pair gives a master bedroom that calm, hotel-style balance. See more in our bedroom wall lights.
It works off the bed too. In a hallway or an entryway, the brass beads add warmth to a plain wall. In a living room, set it beside a sofa or armchair as an accent. Mount it at 180–200 cm there for a lantern-like look.

Vastu
Vastu tradition places the master bedroom in the south-west, for a steady, restful room. It asks for soft, warm light at night and no harsh light hanging right above the bed.
Wall lights on either side of the bed are a common Vastu suggestion. They spread light evenly and keep both sides in balance. This piece fits that idea well. It gives a warm 3000K glow, sits on the wall instead of over your head, and two make a matched pair. Keep the corners lit too, as Vastu advises against dark corners.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We don’t promise luck. We make warm light for a calm room.

FAQ
How high should I mount this bedside wall light?
Mount it 140–150 cm from the floor beside the bed. That puts the lower globe near shoulder height when you sit up in bed. In a hallway or living room, 180–200 cm gives a more decorative, lantern-like look.
Does it need a bulb?
No. It has an integrated LED built into the globes, set to 3000K warm white. The LED carries a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the brass finish rust?
No. The stem, beads and backplate are 304-grade stainless steel under a brushed brass finish. Orders from 4 October 2026 get a lifetime warranty against rusting on those steel parts.
Can I use it as the only light in a room?
As a pair, it gives enough light to read and relax in a bedroom. In a larger living room or hallway, use it as a warm accent beside a ceiling light, since the globes are made for atmosphere, not bright general light.
How fast will it reach me, and can I get another size or finish?
