Overview
A tall cylinder of finely pleated ivory fabric, raised on a slim dark stem above a round wooden base. This fabric floor lamp stands 143 cm (56.3 in) tall, and its shade is 28 cm (11 in) across.
Switch it on and the whole cylinder glows soft gold, with the pleats drawing fine lines of light from top to bottom. It lights a corner gently, without any glare.
Pleated fabric, folded by hand
The shade is made from long strips of fabric, folded into narrow pleats and stretched around a round frame. Our craftsman sets each fold by hand so the lines run straight and even all the way round.
The stem rises through the shade and ends in a short top wrapped in tan cord, which you can hold to turn or move the lamp. The stem is 304-grade stainless steel in a dark bronze finish, with a lifetime rust warranty. Below, a solid round base in a walnut-tone wood keeps it steady.
A switch sits on the cord, so you can turn the lamp on and off without reaching up.
Where this fabric floor lamp works
- Dining corners. Beside a round table, as in the photo below.
- Living rooms. A tube floor lamp fits beside a sofa or in a narrow corner where a wide lamp won’t.
- Bedrooms and studies. Soft, even light for the evening.
- Cafés, studios and boutique hotels. Calm, warm light that suits Japandi, Scandinavian and earthy rooms.
It looks at home with plaster and concrete walls, light wood, woven chairs, linen curtains and terracotta.
Size and care
The lamp is 143 cm tall, and the shade is only 28 cm across, so it fits a small corner or the space beside a chair. It is not dimmable and plugs into a 220–240V wall socket. It is made for indoor use.
Dust the pleats with a soft, dry brush and wipe the base with a dry cloth. Spare parts, including the shade, stay available for 10+ years.

Free 15-min designer consult →Vastu
Vastu tradition likes a home lit evenly, with no dark corners after sunset. A floor lamp brings warm light to a corner the ceiling light misses.
Vastu writers link warm, soft light to the fire element and to a calm mood in the evening. A fabric shade spreads light gently, which fits that idea well.
We don’t promise luck. We help you build rooms that feel calm and right to come back to.

FAQ
What is this fabric floor lamp made of?
The shade is pleated ivory fabric. The stem is 304-grade stainless steel in a dark bronze finish, and the base is solid wood in a walnut tone.
How tall is this fabric floor lamp?
It is 143 cm (56.3 in) tall, with a 28 cm (11 in) shade.
Will this fabric floor lamp fit a small room?
Yes. The shade is only 28 cm across and the base is smaller still, so it fits beside a chair, at the end of a sofa or in a narrow corner of a small flat. Its height lifts the light above eye level when you sit, so the room feels brighter without a bigger lamp.
How do I switch it on?
With the switch on the cord, near the floor.
Is it dimmable?
No. It gives one steady, warm light.
How fast will it reach me?
In stock, it ships within 4 working days. Made to order takes 12–15 working days. Shipping is free across India.
