Overview
Two rings of glass discs, each one swirled with white like cream stirred into water, around a glowing glass bowl. This hanging chandelier is 80 cm (31.5 in) across and 30 cm (11.8 in) tall. It carries 32 hand-shaped glass discs on a brass-finish frame, with a 44 cm swirled glass bowl at its heart, and takes E14 bulbs.
Switch it on and every disc catches the light in a different way. The swirls glow white, the clear glass between them sparkles, and the bowl below turns honey-warm.
Swirled glass and brass, shaped by hand
Every disc and the bowl are borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. Our glassmaker adds white while the glass is still molten and turns it, so the colour swirls through the clear glass instead of sitting on top. No two discs swirl the same way.
There are three sizes of glass on this hanging chandelier: 16 discs of 12 cm (4.7 in), 16 discs of 14 cm (5.5 in), and one bowl of 44 cm (17.3 in). Each disc is pressed flat while hot, then fixed to the frame through its centre with a small brass-finish pin.
The frame, the chain and the canopy are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish. The two rings hold the discs in a staggered pattern, so the light comes through layer after layer.
Where this hanging chandelier works
- Above the dining table. At 80 cm across, it suits a six- to eight-seater table and lights everyone’s plate evenly.
- Over a kitchen island. The bowl spreads light downward, while the discs fill the room with soft glints.
- Living room and foyer. In a room with a high ceiling, it becomes the piece people look up at as they walk in.
- Hotel lounges and restaurants. Its glass and brass suit warm, classic interiors that need a statement.
It suits cream and white walls, oak and walnut, marble and plaster, and both classic and modern rooms.
Light and fitting
This hanging chandelier takes E14 bulbs. The bulbs are not included. Fit 3000K warm-white E14 LEDs for the glow you see in the photos.
It is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and hangs on a brass-finish chain, supplied at 1.5 m and shortened at installation to suit your ceiling height. Any licensed electrician fits it, and we stay on a free video call while you install.
All the metal is 304-grade stainless steel, so it will never rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on the steel. If a disc ever breaks, we make a new one: spare parts stay available for 10+ years.
