Know your light
Rectangular alabaster chandelier with 32 suspended natural-alabaster tubes, a 4 × 2 ft (1219 × 610 mm) black-finished canopy, and a cascading wave arrangement that spans the full length of a dining table, living-room seating zone, or hotel reception counter. Each cylinder is lit from within, revealing the stone’s natural veining as warm amber light.
Where it fits
- Large living rooms: the 4 ft canopy aligns with a long sofa arrangement and spreads ambient light across the seating zone without a single bright hotspot.
- Formal dining rooms: centred over a 10–12-seat table, the staggered wave of tubes creates visual depth that rises and falls above the conversation below.
- Double-height foyers: the suspension extends to suit taller ceiling voids, making this one of the few residential fixtures that reads well from two floors up.
- Hotel lobbies and commercial receptions: the natural stone scale and cascading silhouette project a considered, premium identity the moment guests enter.
Why you’ll use it every day
The 32 alabaster cylinders each glow differently once lit — no two tubes show identical veining. You get a living stone installation rather than a uniform overhead light. When the room lights are dimmed and only these are on, the chandelier becomes the focal point rather than the furniture.
The black canopy sits flush against a coffered or false ceiling, disappearing into the ceiling plane so the cascading tubes appear to float. Above a dining table, the staggered heights frame the surface below rather than flooding it with overhead brightness — guests see the stone glow, not the source.
Hand-cut from natural alabaster — which means no two are alike. The veins run differently. The colour shifts. The edges darken where the stone is denser. Light it up and you get a glow that belongs to your piece and nothing else. One block of stone. One light. Never repeated.
Light & finish
Lit, each alabaster cylinder transmits warm light through its natural veining, producing a mottled amber glow along its full 450 mm length. Across all 32 tubes the effect is a layered, diffused wash — broad enough to serve as primary ambient lighting in large rooms. There are no harsh shadows; light fills the space from multiple suspended points.
Unlit, the stone shows dark brown and honey veining against a cream ground, so the chandelier reads as a natural stone installation even in daylight. The black-finished metal end caps and canopy sit cleanly against dark-tone ceilings, white plaster, and raw concrete alike. It pairs well with warm neutrals, dark stone surfaces, and bronze or antique brass metal accents.
If you are furnishing the same room with coordinating wall pendants, the Jagmag alabaster dome pendant uses the same natural-alabaster material in a smaller single-light format.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, natural stone is traditionally associated with stability and grounding — qualities suited to the main gathering spaces of a home. A rectangular, balanced arrangement is commonly considered orderly and composed, supporting the calm, measured energy that living and dining rooms benefit from. The warm, diffused glow of alabaster (light filtered through stone rather than directed) is traditionally associated with a settled, restful atmosphere. These are design associations, not guaranteed outcomes.

Common questions
What are the canopy dimensions?
The canopy measures 4 ft long × 2 ft wide (1219 × 610 mm). It is black-finished metal and designed to sit flush against the ceiling surface.
How large is each alabaster tube?
Each cylindrical alabaster light is 450 mm long and 40 mm in diameter. The body is natural alabaster and the end caps are black-finished metal.
How many lights does this chandelier have?
There are 32 individual suspended alabaster tubes, arranged in a cascading wave pattern across the full 4 ft canopy length.
Which rooms suit this chandelier best?
It is proportioned for large living rooms, formal dining rooms, double-height foyers, hotel lobbies, and commercial reception areas. Rooms smaller than 18 × 12 ft may find the 4 ft canopy visually large relative to the floor area.
Can the suspension height be adjusted?
Yes. The total suspension is adjustable up to 10 ft (3048 mm), giving your installer flexibility to set the correct drop for your ceiling height and walking clearance.
How is alabaster cleaned and maintained?
Natural alabaster is a stone and is durable under normal indoor conditions. Dry dust with a soft cloth. Do not use water or liquid cleaners directly on the stone, and keep the fixture away from damp or outdoor environments.
