Are the leaves fragile? How should I store and handle them?
Borosilicate glass is more impact-resistant than ordinary glass but will chip if dropped on a hard surface. Store unused pieces in the box on a padded surface, and hold each leaf firmly when threading it — do not force the hole over an oversized pin.
