Textured Glass Wall Light – Adjustable Ribbed Bell Sconce
The Textured Glass Wall Light by JagMag Lights pairs a ribbed, prismatic clear-glass bell shade with an adjustable metal arm. The head tilts on a knurled pivot so you can aim the light exactly where you want it, and the fine vertical ribbing scatters a single E27 bulb into a soft, warm sparkle rather than a hard point of glare. Available in a warm brass/gold or matte black finish.

Placement & designer guidance
Mount the backplate around 150–160 cm from the floor to wash light down a wall or over art, or about 120 cm beside a bed so the tilted head throws light onto a book without lighting the whole room. Because the head projects up to 25.5 cm, keep it clear of tight walkways. It looks deliberate as a flanking pair — either side of a mirror, dresser or bed, roughly 60–90 cm apart. The brass/gold finish warms wood and marble interiors; the matte black suits concrete, dark wood and industrial schemes.
Why you’ll use it every day
The tilting head means you point light exactly where you need it — onto a painting, a console you drop your keys on, or the page of a book at night — instead of flooding the room. The ribbed glass softens the bulb into a warm, glare-free glow that is easy on tired eyes in the evening, and a matched pair frames a bed or mirror so the space feels finished. Wall mounting also frees up a side table from a lamp and its cord.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, glass is associated with clarity, openness and the spreading of light, while brass and gold belong to the metal element — commonly linked with warmth and prosperity and often preferred on northern or north-west walls. The soft, diffused glow is traditionally considered calm and welcoming rather than harsh, and the rounded bell form lets light flow smoothly. The matte-black option reads as grounding depth and is best used sparingly as an accent.
