Overview
Some lamps are only useful once the sun goes down. This travertine table lamp earns its place all day. Switched off, it is a piece of stone on your bedside. Switched on, a wide fabric shade spreads warm light over the table and the stone below it.
The base is real travertine, turned into a soft, rounded vase shape. Above it sits a tapered off-white fabric shade, 46 cm across. The whole lamp stands 56 cm tall. That is big enough to anchor a bedside or console, without crowding it.
Real travertine, polished by hand
Travertine is stone formed beneath the earth, layer by layer, where mineral water rose and settled over thousands of years. Those layers are the swirls you see. The tiny pores are where water and gas once moved through the stone.
Our craftsman looks at each block before he shapes it. He turns the rounded form, then polishes it by hand. He leaves the pores and swirls alone, because they are the stone’s character. So every base has its own pattern and its own shade of cream and honey-gold. No two lamps are the same.
When the lamp is on, the light falls on the stone and brings out its warm tones. The fabric shade softens the bulb into an even glow, with no glare in your eyes.
Where this travertine table lamp works best
Put it on a bedside table to read by, or to wind down before sleep. Set it on a living room side table next to the sofa. Or place it on a console in the entrance hall, where it greets you at the door. It also suits a low shelf in a reading corner.

Light, bulb and fitting
The lamp takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 5–7W LED in 3000K warm white. It is bright enough to read by and soft enough for the evening, and it brings out the gold in the stone.
The neck and the cap that sits on the stone are 304-grade stainless steel in a dark bronze finish. JagMag never uses iron. The steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
A twisted brown cord runs from the base, with an on/off switch on the cord, so you never reach under the shade. The lamp is not dimmable. It gives a fixed, warm light. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms, and runs on 220–240V.

Vastu tradition prefers soft, warm light in the bedroom over a harsh light above the bed. A bedside lamp gives you light to read by and wind down with, while the rest of the room stays calm. This lamp’s shade keeps the bulb out of your eyes and sends the glow down onto the table.

·Switch off and unplug the lamp, and let the bulb cool, before you clean it.
FAQ
Is the base real travertine?
Yes. The base is natural travertine stone, turned and polished by hand in our factory. The small pores, swirls and changes in colour are the stone itself, not a defect, so every lamp is a little different.
Which bulb should I use, and is it included?
Use a 5–7W E27 LED in 3000K warm white. The bulb is not included. That light is bright enough for bedside reading and soft enough for a calm evening.
Is this travertine table lamp dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Is 56 cm the right size for my bedside table?
For most bedside tables, yes. At 56 cm tall, the shade sits at a comfortable reading height when you sit up in bed. The shade is 46 cm across, so a table at least 45 cm wide gives it room.
Will the metal rust, and how do I clean the lamp?
No. The neck and cap are 304-grade stainless steel, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. Wipe the stone with a dry or barely damp microfibre cloth and never use acidic or rough cleaners. Dust the shade with a soft brush.
Can I get a different shade, and how fast will it reach me?
