Overview
A long crystal chandelier in a staircase void is one of the most dramatic things you can add to a home — and this K9 raindrop column delivers that drama in all six of its sizes. Clear, faceted K9 crystal balls cascade from a polished ceiling plate in a tapered funnel silhouette, narrowing to a single crystal point at the base. Choose from Dia 1.5 ft × 6 ft tall up to Dia 4 ft × 16 ft tall, in round or rectangular layouts, across four finishes: gold, rose gold, matte black, and chrome.
Where it fits
This chandelier works in any double-height space — residential foyers, hotel lobbies, open stairwells, and penthouse living rooms with vaulted ceilings. The raindrop column fills vertical space that every other fitting leaves bare. If you need something for a standard ceiling instead, the Ceramic Petal Chandelier – 120 cm Handcrafted Gingko Leaf Linear Light is worth a look. For lower ceilings, the Fluted Glass Chandelier – 9-Light Gold Semi-Flush Ceiling Light is a practical alternative.
Why you’ll use it every day
Once it is installed, your entry stops looking like a corridor and starts looking like a destination. The GU10 spotlights in the ceiling plate throw warm white light straight down through the K9 crystal column. Every time someone walks past on the stairs, the crystals scatter moving prisms of light across the walls. You notice it daily without it ever becoming background noise.
Light & finish
GU10 spots in the ceiling plate send 3000K warm white light down through the K9 crystal column. Each faceted ball refracts that light into soft prisms on your stairwell walls and ceiling. The ceiling plate and suspension rods come in gold-finish metal, rose gold-finish metal, matte black metal, or chrome-finish metal — all durable and suited for Indian indoor conditions. Spare K9 crystal balls are available from Jagmag for 10+ years, so a single damaged piece is never a problem.

A crystal chandelier at the centre of a double-height foyer fits Vastu thinking, which values light and openness along the vertical heart of a home. K9 crystal spreads warm light into small prisms, so the entrance and stairwell feel bright and welcoming. The downward taper of the raindrop form keeps the eye moving, neither heavy nor scattered. We don’t promise luck, just an entrance that feels good to walk into.

FAQ
Is this a good double height chandelier?
Yes. This long chandelier is built for double-height foyers and staircase voids. Pick the drop by your ceiling: leave about 7 ft between the lowest crystal and the floor below, so a 20 ft void suits the 12 ft drop. Rod sections are trimmed at installation to fit exactly.
Where does a long crystal chandelier look best in an Indian home?
Double-height foyers and open stairwells are the natural fit. At Dia 2–3 ft, it works in a residential stairwell with 12–14 ft of ceiling height. At Dia 3.5–4 ft, it belongs in hotel lobbies, farmhouse entry halls, or villas with 16–20 ft ceilings. Centre it directly over the stairwell void for maximum visual impact.
What ceiling height does this chandelier need?
At minimum, 12 ft of ceiling clearance for the 6 ft drop version — the base should clear 7 ft of head height on the floor below. For the full 16 ft drop, plan on 18+ ft of total ceiling height. Any good electrician can trim the rod sections to your exact stairwell measurement.
How many bulbs does this chandelier use and what type?
GU10 holders are fitted into the ceiling plate — the count varies by size variant. Warm LED GU10 bulbs at 3000K, max 7 W each, are recommended. Bulbs are not included and are widely available across India.
Can I adjust the drop of this chandelier to fit my ceiling height?
Rod sections are adjustable at installation. Your electrician can add or remove sections to match your exact void height. Message Jagmag with your stairwell dimensions and we’ll advise the right size variant before you order.
Can I get this chandelier in a different size or finish?
Six standard sizes are available — Dia 1.5 ft to Dia 4 ft — in gold, rose gold, matte black, and chrome finishes. Custom dimensions are possible through Jagmag’s Greater Noida factory with a 15–20 day lead time. Built in India — no import delays, reliable reorders.
Does this chandelier come with installation support?
Free video call support from Jagmag — any electrician completes installation in 60–90 minutes. Spare K9 crystal balls are stocked for 10+ years. Not sure which size suits your stairwell? Message Jagmag with your ceiling height and void width — we’ll help you pick the right drop in 5 minutes.
