Where does a capiz shell chandelier look best in an Indian home?
Over a round dining table or at the centre of a large drawing room — ideally in a room 14 ft × 14 ft or bigger. The 80 cm diameter and 110 cm drop need breathing room to show well. High foyers and double-height staircase voids with 12+ ft ceilings also work beautifully.
What ceiling height does this capiz shell chandelier need?
10 ft minimum for a shorter hang. For the full 110 cm cascade with comfortable head clearance, 12 ft is ideal. Hotel lobbies and staircase voids with 14+ ft ceilings give the best effect.
How many bulbs does this capiz shell chandelier use and what type?
One E27 holder sits at the centre of the cluster. A 3000K warm white LED bulb, max 60W, gives the best glow through the shells. Filament bulbs also work if you want a warmer, amber tone.
Can I adjust the drop of this capiz shell chandelier for a lower ceiling?
Yes — the Teflon-coated copper wire is adjustable at installation. For a 10-ft ceiling, shorten the wire; the shell cluster still hangs fully. Leave at least 7.5 ft of clearance below the lowest shell.
