Overview
A small bowl of real travertine under a disc of warm wood, holding a soft white globe of light. This ceiling light for passage spaces is 15 cm wide and 12 cm tall. It sits close to the ceiling, so it suits low ceilings and narrow corridors, and the 12W warm-white LED is built in.
Switch it on and the opal glass globe glows evenly. Light spills over the rim of the stone and warms the ceiling around it.
Travertine and wood, shaped by hand
Travertine is stone that formed slowly from mineral-rich water, one thin layer over another, across thousands of years. That is where its small pits and soft bands come from.
Our craftsman turns each bowl from a block of travertine and hones it by hand, inside and out. He leaves the natural pits open instead of filling them, so every ceiling light for passage carries its own pattern of stone.
Above the bowl sits a round canopy of real wood in a walnut tone, 10 cm across and 2 cm thick, with its grain left to show. Inside the bowl, the globe is opal borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white added while it is made. It turns the LED into a soft glow with no hot spot.

- Corridors and passages. Fixed every few steps, a row of them lights a long passage evenly without a heavy fixture.
- Entrances and foyers. One by the door gives a warm welcome as you walk in.
- Walk-in wardrobes and small rooms. At 15 cm wide, it fits where a bigger light would crowd the ceiling.
- Porches and covered balconies. It is rated IP65, sealed against dust and water.
It suits white and cream walls, oak doors, linen and stone. Mount two or more along one line for a calm, repeated rhythm.
Light and fitting
The LED is built into this ceiling light for passage use: 12W, warm white, 3000K. No bulb needed. It is not dimmable; it gives one steady, warm light.
It runs on 220–240V and mounts flush to the ceiling, wired straight in. No false ceiling is needed. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we stay on a free video call while you install.
The built-in LED is covered for 1 year. Spare parts, including the LED and the glass globe, stay available for 10+ years.
