What makes this residential chandelier Ranchi project special?
Most homes get one chandelier. This Ranchi home got two — and they talk to each other.
Showpiece 1: the twisting spiral. A round mirror-polished steel canopy sits inside a circular false-ceiling cove, ringed with a soft blue LED glow. From it, dozens of near-invisible steel cables drop down. The crystal drops on those cables are arranged in a twist — a ribbon of sparkle that spirals through the double-height void like rain caught in a gentle whirlwind.
Showpiece 2: the triple-sphere cascade. In the main hall, a larger canopy packed with lamps sends cables down through three full crystal spheres, stacked one below the other, joined by a winding strand of crystal balls. From the floor it reads as three glowing orbs of rain floating in air.
Here’s the thing. Neither of these came out of a catalogue.
Both were built around this exact home — its ceiling height, its cove design, its blue accent lighting. We strung 40 mm crystal balls and 14 mm octagonal beads — small faceted crystals with eight cut sides — onto each cable by hand, so the twist and the spheres hold their shape perfectly.

These are not renders. Every photo below is the actual residential chandelier Ranchi install — you can even spot our bamboo scaffolding in some shots, because we photographed the fixtures the day our team fitted them.
How we built it, step by step
- Measure the void. Our team mapped the ceiling cove sizes, the drop heights and the sight lines from the door, the sofa and the stairs.
- Design the shapes. A spiral for the stair void, three spheres for the hall — drawn to scale so the lowest crystal sits safely above head height.
- Make the parts. Steel canopies cut and mirror-polished, cables measured, and thousands of K9 crystals sorted at our factory in Greater Noida.
- String the crystals. Each cable gets its exact count of 40 mm balls and 14 mm octagons, so the twist and the spheres hold their lines.
- Install and aim. Our own technicians travelled to Ranchi, mounted the canopies, levelled every strand and tuned the lamps with the blue cove glow.

How big should a chandelier be in a double-height home?
Now you might be thinking — would this fit MY house?
Use these simple rules:
- Width: room length + width in feet = chandelier width in inches. A 12 × 14 ft hall suits a fixture around 26 inches wide.
- Drop: about 2.5–3 inches of fixture height per foot of ceiling. An 18 ft void carries a 45–54 inch (or longer, custom) drop beautifully.
- Clearance: keep the lowest crystal at least 7–8 ft above the floor, or at the first-floor balcony line in a stair void.
